Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team created projects featuring “Sale-A-Bration Products.” We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments. We love hearing from you! At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I really like making little treats and gifts for my friends and family! Delivering treats has been a much needed “get out of the house activity”. I look forward to driving around town and leaving little surprises in mailboxes. I made two different versions of today’s project. One stands upright and the other folds over to reveal the surprise treat when opened. This little treat can be given any time of year or you can make it to give out for Valentine’s Day… just change the sentiments.
One of my favorite treats is chocolate covered strawberries. (Oh yum!) While this isn’t the real thing, it’s a fun alternative with a much longer shelf life. Both versions have a slide out box which holds 3 chocolate hearts/strawberries.
I made the stand alone version first then decided to tweak it so it would fold over and open like a card. All inclusive! You can add a message on back of the stand up version if you want. Here’s a look at each project.
This version is just 1/4″ shorter and has an extra score line.
I added the little cut out for a sneak peek at the sweet treat!
I used the Berry Blessings Stamp Set and the lovely Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper. This exclusive bundle is FREE with a $100 purchase during Sale-A-Bration. It was top on my wish list!!! Here’s a look at the set.
This set coordinates with another stamp bundle in the new Mini Catalog, the Sweet Strawberry Bundle. I love that this bundle includes the Strawberry Builder Punch!
The Sweet Strawberry stamp set is the sweetest stamp set ever! Full of plump strawberries and all-occasion sentiments, the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set is perfect for handmade cards, scrapbook pages, and more. It’s a set you can use year-round—change the colors of the foliage images to match the season, and use the sentiments anytime. This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set; it allows you to layer two or more images to create one final image with extra texture and dimension in the colors you want. This is a Distinktive** stamp set; it has a special texture that gives added depth and dimension in a single step, creating photo-realistic images. Here’s a close up of the realistic looking strawberry!
I hadn’t intended to create my own box for today’s project as I was planning to use the new Love You Always Treat Boxes (#154285) found on page 11 in the new Mini Catalog. However, those boxes were much larger than I realized! While they are great and would be perfect to hold 2 (large) actual chocolate covered strawberries (they are food safe!), it took about 20 of my little “strawberries” to fill the box! I wanted to make several of these treats to give so I opted to make my own box. I’m going to be totally honest here….While I love how these turned out, it took me several attempts (and a few wasted sheets of cardstock) to get the measurements and scores just right for what I wanted!!! That being said, please check back tomorrow and I’ll have the measurements and photo tutorial for you (and possibly some of my “other” versions. LOL).
Which one do you prefer…The stand up or fold over version? I’d love to hear from you. Leave a comment below!
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on February 10th when our theme will be “Birthday Bonanza” where the design team will be sharing birthday projects that celebrate our family and friends. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft room.

Good morning, These boxes are adorable. I like the closed version of this box better because it is compact and so easily adaptable to making it a Valentine’s box with the cute chocolate hearts inside. I will definitely be making quite a few of these for my grandchildren – plus my hubby, of course! I am sure I could fold a $5.00 bill neatly inside along with the chocolates. Thanks.
Thanks Judy! What a great idea to add a little monetary gift inside!!!
Jeanie, what a beautiful gift! These are definitely “happy” boxes. You used the DSP perfectly. Thank you for sharing with us.
Thanks Debbie! These are super fun to make!
Super cute boxes, Jeanie! And I adore the little paper leaves on the foil heart chocolates! This paper and stamp set are my favorite SAB item, but I can’t pick a favorite of your two boxes. Both so sweet!
Thanks Karen! Definitely a favorite of mine too!
SOOOOO stinkin’ CUTE!!! My FAV is the fold over one 🥰
Thanks Nicole! It’s my favorite too!!! I like the surprise when you open it!
Oh this is a hard decision . . . I guess I like the stand up version.
Have a blessed day.
Thanks Nancy! I enjoyed making both!
Jeanie ! Both are just so cute ! But I was surprised also how big those treat boxes are so both boxes are functional depending on your treats ! Your smaller box gets my vote because it has that JEANIE
pop of CUTE !!
So glad I have this paper and stamps and punch !! So much PRETTY ! PLUS FUN !!
Thanks Sonny! I would love to get more of that DSP! It’s so gorgeous!
Fabulous Jeanie!!!
Thanks Ramsey!!! I still have your treat box that you made me with the old strawberry DSP. It makes me smile!
Very cute! I love how you used the stems on top of the candy hearts—you go girl!
Thanks Renae! It’s so quick & easy to transform those hearts into strawberries!! I just love Stampin’ Up! punches!!!
Brilliant and just over the top FUN!!! This is a fab-o punch and the way that you put the tops on is over the top! I love the closed box as I could see myself making LOTS of these gems for gifts as heck – who would not like to get a BIG SMILE with one of these! You know me….when I find something I like…I MASS PRODUCE!!! Just a wonderful and inspiring post…..WOOT-WOOT to YOU!
I learned from the master!!!! Can’t wait til we can get together and stamp again!!!!
Brilliant
Thanks Ann!
Too sweet! Love both but the closed box won out due to the berry fun pun! Also, maybe a bit easier to make? But, I would be over the top happy to find either in my mail box.. gotta hop along now.
Thanks Chris! Neither are difficult to make. I posted the tutorial. I bet you could adjust the dimensions to make with your tulip candy for the Tulip Festival. One of these years I hope to come see the tulips!!
You knocked this one out of the box!
Thanks Michelle!! It’s fun box!!!
I adore this project so much! I love 3D projects, especially ones that hold adorable treats, thanks for sharing!
Thanks Jennifer! I love to make 3D projects…especially ones with treats inside!!
Love both of these boxes. but I am partial to the fold-over one. What great designs! Clever use of the leaf top for the hearts, too~just brilliant. Thanks for a great Hop.

Thanks Windy! I LOVE chocolate covered strawberries!!!
Jeanne, what a beautiful display of your artwork. You did a wonderful job. They all are so pretty. They make a wonderful gift. Thank you for sharing them with all of us.
Thanks Ellen! I really enjoy making little treat gifts!
Fabulous, Jeanie! What perfect candy for your adorable box!
Thanks Su! I was so glad to finally work out the measurements to make the box for the hearts!
Jeanie I love everything you do, I believe you have the most creative mind. I think my favorite is the stand up style.
Thank you Lawanda! You are too sweet! I’m a night owl! My creativity creeps in at 3am! LOL Fortunately I don’t require a lot of sleep!
I too love them both! Beautiful work but wondering where you got those wrapped chocolate strawberries?! Please share! Thanks so much!!!
I ordered the chocolate foil wrapped hearts from Amazon. Madelaine Premium Chocolate Hearts Valentines Candy – Solid Milk Chocolate Heart Shaped Candy Wrapped In Italian Foil (Red, 1 LB)$14.95
Darling boxes, Jeanie!! As usual, I just love your work!
Thanks Mary! I’m a fan of your work as well!
You are absolutely so creative! Your strawberry boxes are to die for——wish I were on your delivery route! Love both boxes! Do you think SU will ever sell the paper outright instead of through SAB? I hope so— I would love to stock up! Please tell me what chocolates you used- the stems on the hearts are too clever!❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Dianne! I would love it if they offered the DSP separately!!! I ordered the chocolate foil wrapped hearts from Amazon. Madelaine Premium Chocolate Hearts Valentines Candy – Solid Milk Chocolate Heart Shaped Candy Wrapped In Italian Foil (Red, 1 LB)$14.95
