A Simple Hershey Nugget Treat Box with Countryside Corners Dies for Tic Tac Toe Challenge #269

Happy Thursday! I am honored to be the designer for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week. I had so much fun with this board!

I created a simple treat box using 7 of the 9 elements from this board. I have Tic Tac Toe 4 different ways… going down the right side, across the bottom, and both ways on the diagonal. Stampin' Up! Countryside Corner Dies Treat Box-Jeanie Stark StampinUp
You can fit 4 Hershey Nuggets inside perfectly!
Here are the details to create this box.

Supplies/Measurements:
Stamp Set Shown: Stampin’ Up! Keeping Tabs
Box (Thick Basic White): 4 x 5 7⁄8 scored all 4 sides @ 5⁄8 . Then score along long side @ 2 5⁄8 and 3 1⁄4
Cardstock (Night of Navy): 2 @ 2 1⁄2 x 4 cut with Countryside Corners Dies (3rd largest die)
DSP (Serene Love): ~ 3 3⁄4 x 2 1⁄4 cut with Countryside Corners Die, fussy cut flower
Basic White: 1⁄2 strip for sentiment
Ribbon: ~ 6 in. folded in half

Directions:

Use scissors to cut and notch tabs along score lines as shown.
Fold and burnish score lines using a bone folder.
Add adhesive to marked tabs (X) and adhere the corners to assemble the box.
Adhere Countryside Corners Die cuts to top and bottom of box. *Adhere the bottom of the box first centering it on the die cut. Then add adhesive to the top of the box and add top layer. Add DSP layer.
Stamp sentiment on strip and cut flag on end.
Fold Ribbon in half and add Mini Glue Dot to hold. Adhere sentiment in
between ribbon.
Fussy cut flower and adhere to top of box with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I also created a fun fold birthday card to give with this treat box. (I wanted to challenge myself to use all the elements on this week’s board.)

Marbled Elegance Heart Box for Tic Tac Toe Challenge #263

Welcome to the first Tic Tac Toe Challenge of 2025! This week’s challenge board has fun elements to create quick & easy projects!

I created a treat box using the elements across the top: hearts, designer paper, love sentiment.

This is a quick & easy project! I created the box then adhered the die cut hearts to the top and bottom of the box. The box holds 2 Hershey nuggets.
Here are the details:

Measurements:

Melon Mambo Cardstock: 4 x 3 3/8 (box bottom), 4 1/16 x 3 7/16 (box top), 2 @ 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 to die cut 2 hearts, 1 @ 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 to die cut smaller heart
DSP (Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper): 2 @ 1 x 3 (to wrap Hershey nuggets), 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 to die cut heart
Gold Foil: 1 1/2 x 3 to die cut “love” from Paper Pumpkin Love of Spring Dies

Directions:

Score both box pieces at 1″ on all 4 sides. Cut and notch score lines as shown below.
Fold and burnish score lines. Use Tear & Tape (or strong adhesive) on tabs as shown. Tuck and adhere tabs inside to form box.
Start with the smaller/bottom of the box. Apply liquid glue to the bottom of the box then adhere to the die cut heart as shown below.
Wrap Hershey nuggets with DSP using Mini Glue Dots. Embellish with Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins and place inside the box.
Repeat step 2 to assemble box top same as bottom.
Place top of box over the bottom box.
Layer DSP heart to cardstock heart.
Apply liquid glue to top of box and adhere layered heart on top.
Adhere smaller heart on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere word sentiment on top.
