And there’s more…if you order the Poinsettia Petals Bundle you’ll also get a card kit to make one of the cards included in the tutorial. Be sure to read all about my Just Stampin’ Rewards and a chance to win some “blog candy” below.
Here’s a look at this month’s featured set, the Poinsettia Petals Bundle.
Did you know you save 10% when you purchase the bundle? The sentiments and fonts in this stamp set are one of my favorites this holiday season! And I love these dies! They cut and emboss. Here’s a little tip: Put a piece of removable tape (or sticky note) to to keep the petals and outline together to cut and emboss at the same time with just 1 roll through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine! It is quick & easy!
Here’s a close up of the beautiful detailed embossing.
I created a similar box for my Just Stampin’ Card Kit and 3D Project Buffet to go last month. This was the 3D project included with the card kit.(*You’ll want to sign up for my special Holiday Kit this month. Details to come!)
I am having so much fun making these for gifts. I love how simple t is to decorate the acetate boxes for different occasions. Each box can hold 5 3×3 cards plus envelopes. And there is so much more you can put in these boxes! Check back to see what I’ve put in some of mine! (I made one for my daughter’s birthday next week and I don’t want to spoil her surprise.) I’d love to hear your ideas for what to put in the box. Leave a comment below and I will pick a random winner to send a kit to make today’s poinsettia box project. I’ll post the winner on Tuesday (with my daughter’s card & gift). I have several family birthdays this month! Check back tomorrow to see what I made for my husband’s birthday.

I always enjoy your cards and 3D projects. This one is a keeper!!
Hi Jeanie, Love this box. It is beautiful. Besides cards, I would put Ghirardelli candies ( salted caramel delicious!) and /or jewelry gifts. I love all of your kits. Thanks
This is a cute box to put many things in for a surprise treat ! Hershey mini bars , gift cards , money , cute stickers. Wonder if Tic Tacs or Bath and Body little hand sanitizer would fit ?? I will try when I get my card kit this month ! I have that tag punch so I guess I will have to order some of the acetate boxes to put some of these together !
Thank you for such a cute project to try !!
I’m thinking a little travel lotion, a lip balm, some mints or chocolates – who wouldn’t like that!
Chocolate is always good. But, I have found some Dutch letter scones a friend makes and sells. One would just fit. Dutch letters are pastries made here in the shape of an “s” with an almond paste filling. I am not a huge fan of those as they are really sweet but darn the scones are so good. If I can’t figure out the recipe I might just go with the famous Susan Itell cookie!
Either way I will be making some of these. Oh crap, I just placed an order and forgot to see how many I have left of those boxes. Such a fun idea. Might add ribbon for handles too.
How adorable these little boxes are! You could put anything in them for a personalized gift. Thanks for sharing.
I wonder if you could get a face mask folded enough to fit in the box. I just love the poinsettia set, great idea and thanks for your inspiration Jeanne!
I would make gingerbread cookies that fit perfect!
I love using the poinsettia on the box. So beautiful. I’m thinking I can make boxes for the grandgirls, putting in stickers, markers, a glue stick and a couple 3×3 card bases. Maybe some paper scraps, depending on the room! Gotta support their crafty side! TFS.
I think it would have so be some chocolate for me…but many things would fit…Easy and quick to make.. your daughter will LOVE it! .thank you
