Birthday Gift Bonanza for the Pals Blog Hop

Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team created “Birthday Bonanza” projects to inspire you to make for all of your family and friends. We hope you enjoy and are inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments because we all love hearing from you! At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

I love to give homemade gifts and my project today is one that will last year after year! What a pretty reminder who to send birthday cards to each month!Stampin' Up!Oval Occasions Perpetual Birthday Calendar Box - Jeanie Stark StampinUp
I plan to gift these to my family and friends for their birthday this year. I had fun creating these with different colors and designer series papers.
Stampin' Up! Dandy Garden Perpetual Birthday Calendar gift idea - Jeanie Stark StampinUp
This one showcases the lovely patterns in the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper Pack. I even punched the dragonflies from the DSP using the Dragonflies Punch. For the birthday sentiment I adhered Basic White to Stampin’ Up! foam adhesive sheets and cut it out with the Well Written Dies. Each month showcases some of the different designer series patterns.

The months were printed on Basic White cardstock and punched using the Double Oval Punch. I love punches and this one is on the list of My Favorite Things. It is available as a bundle with the Oval Occasions Stamp Set which I used to stamp the sentiment on the box below.
Stampin' Up! True Love Perpetual Birthday Calendar Box idea - Jeanie Stark StampinUp
This box is striking with the black & white True Love Designer Series Paper and Magenta Madness. The flower cluster is fussy cut from one of the patterns.

My next box features the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper which you can get for FREE with a qualifying purchase during Sale-A-Bration.

I used the Pretty Perennials stamp set for the sentiment and punched the flower using the Daisy Punch.

Check back tomorrow and I’ll have the tutorial and a PDF to print the calendar and months.

  1. OMG…you just made a touchdown (much like your fav, Tom Brady) with this project. I can’t wait to get the details tomorrow. As a favorite, it’s hard to pick but I am partial to the black, white and pink. You constantly amaze and impress me!

  2. The Queen of 3-D projects does it again! How super cute and useful. My sister gave my daughter-in-law a perpetual calendar with family birthdays on it as a shower gift…this would be a great gift like that! TFS

  3. Ok my sweet friend……This project is a GRAND SLAM!!

I can hardly wait for tomorrow to come already and it’s not even 8 AM yet because I cannot wait to create this… What a fabulous project and what a useful gift!

    You are simply amazing…

  4. Love, Love, Love this, Jeanie! I cannot wait to make some of these for thought gifts or as an extra for other times. Will be looking for your tutorial tomorrow…

  5. Hey Jeanie!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these. My favorite is . . . wait for it . . . BLUE!!!! Did you guess. I think I’ll bet putting the oval punches on my next order. They just look so perfect together, instead of putzing around with odd sizes. Thanks for this project. I can’t wait for tomorrow also.
    Have a blessed day.

  6. So fun and so useful!Like Nancy said, the punches will be on my next order or soon anyway. What a different look they have. I love the blue with the dragonflies but that black and white with the magenta is so striking and I am not a lover of magenta. Looking forward to see how you made the box as well.

  7. What a great (and pretty) gift and very useful. My favorite is the blue box as I’m partial to blue’s

  8. I really like this idea. I can’t wait to receive the tutorial tomorrow. You have a lot of realyy good ideas.
I want to make a bunch of these for my little (8) stampin ladies and for family.

  9. This is the most beautiful and creative project! I love how creative you are and hope that you will share the instructions and printables soon. I would love to make these and pass them out as Christmas or birthday gifts. Thanks for the great inspiration!

  10. love this! I made this years ago when you first posted it and can’t find my file with the calendar and months. I looked on your site and can’t find it here.
