In Color Thank You Cards with a Sneak Peek at Tea Boutique

I enjoy making and sending thank you cards and gifts to my customers.  (Truth be told I am usually last minute getting these done.) I am having so much fun creating with the new In Colors! These bright cheery colors coordinate with the new 6×6 Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper (available May 3rd). Here’s today’s cards.

This is a quick & easy project to create. I love how it showcases the pretty patterned paper! I hope you’ll get out your favorite designer series paper and give this card design a try!

PROJECT MEASUREMENTS:

  • Card Base – Basic White Note Card
  • Cardstock layer – 3 1/2 x 5
  • Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper – 3×3
  • Basic White & In Color cardstock – 1 1/2 x 3 1/2 to cut die

Here’s a closer look at each of the cards:

*HERE’S A QUICK TIP – I cut my DSP so I could get two cards and envelopes from each 6×6 sheet. First I cut my 6×6 piece in half to get 2 – 3 x 6 pieces. Then I cut one 3×6 piece in half to get 2 -3×3 card fronts. I cut the other 3×6 piece in half to get 2- 1 1/2 x 6 pieces for the envelope.  I added a 1/4″ strip of cardstock to the envelope first then added the DSP 1/4″ below that and trimmed to fit. No waste and a fun coordinated look!

  1. Great cards and envelopes. Wonderful way of showing the new colors and the DSP. Thanks for the cutting tips. Sure brightened up my dreary rainy day.

  2. Very cheerful DSP cards and thanks for the measurements!
Someone else has spotted the difference…. they have a good eye. I do remember the Highlights magazine, my kids loved it!

  3. I LOVE your designs showing all the new colors!!! I spy the parakeet color difference of the card stock backing 🙂

  4. I love these cards, CAS, and never thought to add a strip of solid colour cardstock to the envelope flap, 1/4″ space then dsp, I agree the matting behind the green thanks is not white.
