Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because we made some great projects for “My Favorite Season” – showcasing our favorite stamps and supplies for our holiday project. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I’ve been sharing holiday projects for each letter of the alphabet in my ABC Holiday 2019 Series. (Make sure you follow my blog so you don’t miss out on holiday ideas from A to Z!) Today I have two fun projects to “light” up the holidays! No matter what’s your favorite holiday, the All- Around Wreath Dies work for every season!
My first project is a fun fold card that lights up with a battery operated votive candle.
I used the Tidings All Around Stamp Set and All-Around Wreath Die to create this card. (You can purchase these as a bundle and save 10%)! This card would look great on a mantel, bookcase, or end table. I love how it lights up!
Here’s a few more pictures so you can see how it looks closed and how it opens. It’s a trifold card that sits up like a tent.
I sandwiched a piece of vellum between the wreaths so the light shines through without actually seeing the votive candle. I decorated the wreath with bulbs using the Bulb Builder Punch. The Night Before Christmas Designer Series Paper was the perfect choice to compliment the punched lights. This was so much fun to make!
The best part of any holiday season is spending time with family & friends! I love to make little table favors for each holiday and the All- Around Wreath Dies make a fun and easy project to light up your holiday table.
I made these for our Thanksgiving table but you could easily do the same for Christmas, New Years, Valentine’s Day, etc. These dies are versatile for year round use! I love them! I I watercolored Shimmery White cardstock with the Aqua Painter before cutting the die. It was quick & easy!
One of the things we love to do as a family during the holiday season is drive around and look at all the beautiful lights. Many neighborhoods in our area have huge displays of lights and music and it’s always fun to see the different displays. Do you go all out with lights? Which do you prefer… colored lights or white lights?
If you would like to make these “lighted” projects check back tomorrow for the complete tutorials because….More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, November 13th when we showcase projects with layers of DSP and embellishments for any occasion. Don’t miss the fun!

This is so unique, and so pretty! I love both of the wreaths. Your details are wonderful!
Thank you Jackie!
Awesome projects…they just “lit” up my day! Those little table wreaths are a wonderful idea!
THanks Rosanne! Glad I could add some “light” to your day off! Hahaha THese would be great to make for your craft show too!!
Love both of these projects but especially the little table wreaths! I don’t have that die set and you may have just given me the reason to purchase it, LOL. Well done, Pal! (ps… I decorate outside with white lights. My living room tree gets white lights but the keeping room tree will have colored lights… such a festive time of year!)
Thanks Katy! I agree it is such a festive time of year! I love to decorate for the holidays and setup trees in every room so everywhere I look it’s bright and festive! Now as far as those dies….they are a “must have” in my opinion! I have made so many cards already and they all look so different! THey can be used year round for all kinds of projects. I have more ideas coming in the rest of my alphabet series!
As always, you are the QUEEN of 3D!
Thanks Karen! Not sure about the title but I do love making 3D projects as much as cards! More bang for my buck and more reasons to buy! LOL
Love both projects! I usually decorate my table as well and will definitely be casing your little wreaths! I decorate with white lights in my home but when we venture out to see other houses I get super excited to see the rainbow of colored lights. It’s just fun! Enjoy the day.
Oh Mary Ann, we are so much alike!!! Hope to see you in Hartford this Fall!
I’d love to make both of your projects, Jeanie! They are simply amazing!
Wow Beth…I am honored! THank you! Love your projects as well!!!
What clever wreaths, Jeanie! Thank you for all the pictures!
Thanks Su! I am on a roll with the wreath dies! Love them!!!
Love these projects! As always, your designs are so inspirational. Great photography, too; I swear you can feel the texture in that table wreath!
Thank you so much for your comment Linda! I struggle with the photography end…always my photos don’t do the project justice as they look so much better in real life!
You will not believe how easy the little table wreath is to make! I did not fuss with the watercoloring at all….just used the wonderful Shimmery White cardstock and quickly “washed” it with different colors inks then cut it out with the die. I did add some Wink of Stella after it was dry as I like the extra shimmer!
We are celebrating Thanksgiving early this year in true tradition of the first THanksgiving! LOL My kids can’t make it back in November so we are actually having the whole turkey dinner, etc. this weekend! I am one happy momma and so excited!!!
Can’t wait to see you in Hartford next month!
Fantastic projects Jackie! I hope you don’t mind if I case them for table favors at an event. Thank you so much for showing us these.
Cute, cute, cute! You and I are on the same wave length with tea lights. I just made the wreath! The easel card is also adorable! You are ready for the holiday season!
