Happiness Abounds for Ariane’s Birthday

I have had so much fun with my daughter’s birthday project this year! She turned 25 on Thursday and we have been celebrating every day since October 17th! Why October 17th? Because that marked 25 days til her 25th birthday and I gifted her with a birthday countdown filled with fun gifts.

*The countdown boxes are from a Stampin’ Up! kit, Christmas Countdown Project Kit, that retired several years ago. I picked up a few when they went on Clearance. I love a good deal and really love how this turned out! I have to give a shout out to Terri Gaines for the awesome idea to use paper clips to attach the balloons to the boxes. This way my daughter can reuse the boxes after her birthday for desk supplies, jewelry, socks,… etc.

Can you guess my daughter’s favorite color? The beautiful floral pattern in the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper was perfect for this project! It coordinates with two of her favorite purples, Fresh Freesia and Gorgeous Grape. Check out all the different patterns in Hues of Happiness.
This is one of my favorite designer series paper packs in the annual catalog! It is from the The Hues of Happiness Suite which was at the top of my list of My Favorite Things. I used the Happiness Abounds Bundle (included in this suite) to create her fun fold birthday card. (Special thanks to Tammy Beard for the tutorial!)

You can mix and match the floral designs from the Designer Series Paper, the die set, and the stamp set to create all-occasion cards and more! I love the sentiments and fonts in this set and the dies are so versatile! I cut the flower and leaves on her card from the Designer Series Paper.

I love a beautiful presentation and one of my favorite things is to use a clear envelope for the card and adhere it on top of the gift. So simple!

Here’s another version using a clear envelope attached to a plain gift bag. The card uses another pretty pattern from Hues of Happiness.

Even though we couldn’t be together for her birthday this year, we celebrated virtually as she opened her gifts each day! I looked forward to it as much as she did!
