Mother’s day is a perfect time to recognize all the wonderful moms in your life! When my daughter was little I was new in the community and joined a moms playgroup to meet people. Those wonderful women became “my village” from potty training to empty nests! Their friendship is a blessing! Today’s project would be a lovely gift for any of the moms in your life!
I have been on a roll making these oyster shell trinket holders. There are so many uses for these! (*If you missed my previous posts featuring these shells, you can click HERE or HERE.)
I took advantage of the CLEARANCE SALE and purchased the gold boxes which are the perfect size for these shells. The inspiration for the box came from a card design (found on page 28) in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.
I cut the pansy and leaves from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper using the Pansy Dies. The sentiment is from the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set (*one of my retiring favorites!!!). I love how the box coordinates with the shell! The bumblebee trinket is the perfect finishing touch! You can view the complete list of products used below.

The pansy shell is so pretty and fun. I have the pansy paper but not the dies or stamp set thinking I would cut the flowers out. There is hope for the paper yet. I have one of these trinket shell trays that Jeanie made me for my birthday. I squealed with delight as it has the cutest pig on it and shamrock for my St. Patrick’s Day birthday. The card and box was just perfect. My mom would have loved this pansy gift. Goes to show what happens when you think outside the box.
