I’m excited to share another beautiful card from my Fun Fold Card Swap! You are in for a treat as I share each of these cool fun folds. The collection of cards I’ll be sharing might not have current Stampin’ Up! products, but every card gives good ideas for color combinations, layouts, and techniques. Let the inspiration continue…
Today’s Double Z fun fold card by Maryann shows the versatility of the Beautiful You stamp set. Yesterday I share Cindy’s fun fold triple panel card using this stamp set. You can see that post HERE.
Maryann water colored the dress and hat on her card. Look at how well the colors match! Color coordination is a Stampin’ Up! strength and Maryann showcases it perfectly!
You can see the two Z’s when you look down on the card.
Maryann really stepped it up on her card with the lovely layers, candy dots, and popped up sentiment. This card really “looks beautiful”!
I love making fun fold cards. The Double Z fold looks hard but it really just takes a few simple scores to make. For directions and to see two of the Z fold cards I shared previously click HERE and HERE.
Please leave a comment below to let Maryann know how much you love her fun fold creation (especially if you are the lucky person who received this in the swap). Thanks again to everyone who participated! It was so much fun getting “Happy Mail”! Check back tomorrow for another fun fold swap card. I plan to showcase all of the cards while I am away on vacation so you will continue to be inspired!
Did you know that yesterday was National Ice Cream Day? I just had to celebrate and honor this special day with some delicious homemade ice cream after a day on the beach.
Have a wonderful day!

I love Mary Ann’s card, Jeanie. The Beautiful You set is one of my favorites and I love her folded design. I’ve used the set for a graduation card and a retirement card. I also like the font of the sentiments. Have a great week.
I too love the fonts and agree that it is a versatile set!
Oh another fun fold and another fun card! I like the watercoloring of the dress – so pretty! I’ve got to make one of these folds! I love the colored dots and they go so well with the DSP. Well done Maryann! I love green so I was in love with the card just at first glance!
Oh Jeanie, I hope that is not your cone – you would have to stand on a step or a ladder to reach the top part of the ice cream before it fell in your face! I knew it was National Ice Cream Day or however it was titled but I didn’t break out my sweet treat set – I should have done that earlier in the week so I could mail them. I will have to put it on the perpetual calendar for next year!
I too thought I should have done a card with the Cool Treats stamp set; however, I have limited supplies with me on vacation…and no paper pumpkin! My daughter and husband went back home and she sent me a photo with my Paper Pumpkin and Stampin’ Up! order on the kitchen counter waiting for me. It’s going to have to wait another 2 weeks before I get home! I had never heard of National Ice Cream day before! I wish every day was ice cream day. Cape Cod has the BEST homemade ice cream anywhere!!!! My favorite anyway!
Beautiful card Maryann!!!! I love how you placed the sentiments to say Happy Birthday when you open it! And I love the colors! Well done!
Jeanie, How could I miss National Ice Cream Day!!! Oh how I wish I was up there with you to celebrate it!
Me too! There was a sailing crew on the water taking lessons the other day and I thought of you! We visited 3 more lighthouses too!
And I bet it is cooler up there! So jealous!!! Have fun!!!
Maryann, the colors and layout of this card are striking. And that double Z is A.Maz.Ing. How lucky we all are to see your beautiful work!
Jeanie, vacation looks good on you!! Have a great time.
Oooh! I think we need to send your wording in for a stamp sentiment…I like “vacation looks good on you!” I think I need to “wear” vacation more often! LOL
Love your card, Maryann! And Jeanie, did you know that your ice cream photo matches her card? I bet you did!!! 🙂 I’m so glad to know that my ice cream indulgence yesterday was for a good reason – National Ice Cream Day! I did my part to celebrate!!! Ha!
I’m glad you did your part Karen! I took one for the team today! YUM!!!!
Oh Maryann ! How pretty and this is a great Fun Fold card ! Those dots just add so much fun to this and love your color and water coloring skill !!
Jeanie , I eat ice cream every night and I have many different flavors in my big freezer so I can pick a different one as desired ! Now, I won`t go into toppings that is for another time (giggle),,,,,,
You look like The Statue Of Ice Cream (a take off on The Statue Of Liberty) LOVE IT !!
Sonny, A girl after my own heart!!! Ice cream every night!!! My problem is I would start in the morning and go all day until it ran out if it was in my freezer!!!
You have me giggling! LOL
Maryann, what a lovely card. I haven’t tried that fun fold yet but with yours and Jeanie’s inspiration, it’s next on my list. Your watercoloring is soft and adds to the beauty of the card. Great job! Thanks for sharing, Jeanie.
It is my pleasure to be able to share such wonderful talent and inspiration!
Thank you everyone for all the kind words…..love our blog family (and ice cream)! 🍦
I love our blog family too!!!!
Yeah. . . This was the card I received!! I love it Maryann. I do not remember seeing this fold (before Jeanie). I’m on Long Island, NY . . . We are neighbors. Thank You so much for playing Long. Truly a lot of fun.
Love this card!! Great stamp set too.
