Send a Card to a Friend Day is celebrated on February 7th each year (That’s tomorrow!). It’s an opportunity to brighten a friend’s day during the winter months and spread smiles through the mail.

Send a Card to a Friend Day is a special occasion dedicated to reconnecting with friends through the simple act of sending a heartfelt card. It’s a day to express gratitude, share warm wishes, or simply let friends know they are cherished and remembered.

I have a lot of friend card ideas to share with you today! Here’s a card that was included in my Just Stampin’ Card Kit to Go last month. It’s a fun fold pop up card.

You could send this card any time of year or it would be a great Valentine card for a friend. I used the Sale-A-Bration Bundle, Heart Shaped (available this month for FREE with a qualifying order), on the front of this card as well as the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder. The sentiment from Sentimental Park is perfect any time of year!

This card folds to 4 x 4 and fits in a medium envelope.

I used the Hearts of Elegance Bundle to die cut the heart then embossed it with the Starstruck Embossing Folder (another Sale-A-Bration freebie). You can view the complete list of products I used below.

Marbled Elegance Heart Box for Tic Tac Toe Challenge #263

Welcome to the first Tic Tac Toe Challenge of 2025! This week’s challenge board has fun elements to create quick & easy projects!

I created a treat box using the elements across the top: hearts, designer paper, love sentiment.

This is a quick & easy project! I created the box then adhered the die cut hearts to the top and bottom of the box. The box holds 2 Hershey nuggets.
Here are the details:

Measurements:

Melon Mambo Cardstock: 4 x 3 3/8 (box bottom), 4 1/16 x 3 7/16 (box top), 2 @ 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 to die cut 2 hearts, 1 @ 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 to die cut smaller heart
DSP (Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper): 2 @ 1 x 3 (to wrap Hershey nuggets), 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 to die cut heart
Gold Foil: 1 1/2 x 3 to die cut “love” from Paper Pumpkin Love of Spring Dies

Directions:

Score both box pieces at 1″ on all 4 sides. Cut and notch score lines as shown below.
Fold and burnish score lines. Use Tear & Tape (or strong adhesive) on tabs as shown. Tuck and adhere tabs inside to form box.
Start with the smaller/bottom of the box. Apply liquid glue to the bottom of the box then adhere to the die cut heart as shown below.
Wrap Hershey nuggets with DSP using Mini Glue Dots. Embellish with Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins and place inside the box.
Repeat step 2 to assemble box top same as bottom.
Place top of box over the bottom box.
Layer DSP heart to cardstock heart.
Apply liquid glue to top of box and adhere layered heart on top.
Adhere smaller heart on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere word sentiment on top.

Hearts of Elegance Fun Fold Card for Tic Tac Toe Challenge #261

Hearts are not just for Valentine’s Day! I couldn’t wait to create with the new Marbled Elegance Suite Collection! It is absolutely gorgeous!!! Here’s my fun fold card.

This card is what I would refer to as a “mash up” card. I do this a lot. I saw a pink and gold color combo I loved on Pinterest then saw a “new to me” fun fold and decided to combine bits of both to create a card for this week’s Tic Tac Toe Challenge.

I created Tic Tac Toe on the diagonal with Sparkle, Free, Red &/or Pink.
I love how this card turned out and want to give a shout out to Patty Bennett for her Double Diamond Fun Fold which inspired me to try this fun fold using hearts instead of 3″ squares/diamonds. I used dies from the Hearts of Elegance Bundle which is part of the Marbled Elegance Suite. Take a look at this new online exclusive suite collection.

Here are the details if you would like to create this fun fold.

Measurements:

Card base (Thick Basic White): 4 1/4” x 11” score at 2 1/4″, 4 1/2”, 7 3/4″
Basic White cardstock: 3 x 4, 2 x 4 Emboss each panel (Dashing Designs)
DSP (Marbled Elegance): 2 @ 4 1/4 x 4 to die cut hearts
Gold Foil: 3 x 3 to die cut heart and stitched banner
Melon Mambo cardstock: scrap to die cut banner

Directions:

Fold & burnish card base into an accordion fold. (*Use bone folder).
Adhere embossed panels.
Add hearts to front of card. Only put adhesive along the bottom of the large hearts.
*Measuring Tip- Make sure when you place your heart on the back fold that it is not taller that 5 1/2″ so it will fit in the envelope. I love using my grid paper for this!
Heat emboss sentiment on Melon Mambo cardstock with Versamark Ink and Gold Embossing Powder using Heat Tool. Cut out banner shape with Stitched Shapes Dies.
Cut small gold banner in half and adhere to ends of large banner. Adhere banner to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere gold heart to back panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Tie a double bow using Gold Thread and adhere to card with Mini Glue Dot.
Embellish with Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins.
