Forever Fern Pop Up Gift Card Holder

Today’s thank you card is a pop up gift card holder for a friend who came to my rescue this summer when a major home project took a disastrous turn! The So Sentimental stamp set had the perfect sentiment! Stampin' Up! So Sentimental and Forever Greenery pop up gift card holder
I have made this pop up gift card holder before; however, I used cardstock instead of designer series paper. I chose to use the Forever Fern Designer Series Paper because it matched the restaurant gift card. I just love it when everything coordinates!

I stamped the inside with the greenery stamp from the Forever Fern stamp set using Garden Green ink. Then I added color to the leaves using Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I still have plenty of room to add my personal message.

Measurements

Card Base (Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper): 5 1/2 x 11 scored at 4 1/4, 5 1/2, 6 3/4
Belly Band (Soft Sea Foam cardstock): 1 3/4 x 10
Garden Green: 2 1/2 x 4 cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Whisper White: 2 1/2 x 3 stamped and cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies, 3 3/4 x 5 (inside)
Pear Pizzazz: 4 x 5 1/4 (inside layer)

Wrap the belly band around the card and gently crease and secure with Stampin’ Seal. *It should be able to slide on and off. Emboss the belly band with the Greenery Embossing Folder for some added texture. Adhere the sentiment layer, Garden Green Stitched So Sweetly die cut, and the Gold Laser-Cut piece together. Adhere to belly band with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add Gilded Gems. The belly band slides off to open the card.

Time for Tags and A Few More of My Retiring Favorites

I’ve been sharing projects showcasing some of my retiring favorites. If you missed my posts for This Little Piggy or The Honey Bee Bundle, you can view them HERE or HERE.

Today I’m showcasing a few more of my retiring favorites: the Stitched Labels Dies, Kraft Pillow Boxes and Time for Tags Stamp Set. I used all three of these to make a Quick & easy gift for any occasion!

Stampin' Up! Time for Tags and Stitched Labels Dies Pillow Box idea- Jeanie Stark StampinUp

The Time for Tags Stamp Set has 5 different tags as well as different sentiments to add to them. You can color the tags with your Stampin’ Blends, Watercolor Pencils, or ink and a blender pen. This is a versatile stamp set that can be used for all kinds of tags or cards.

The stamp set coordinates with the Timeless Labels Punch for quick & easy punching. I cut out the Stitched Labels Die to add a layer to pop up the tag. Then I took the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and looped it through the right side hole and then around the pillow box. I put one ribbon end through the hole on the other side and then tied a bow. So simple and pretty!!!

Any one of the tags could be added for a quick & easy gift. Pop in a gift card with some chocolate for a birthday, a little bib or booties for a new baby, etc. Hooray for You is great for graduations, new job, retirement, etc. And Something For You can be used anytime!

A Pocketful of Happiness

I knew I wanted to use the Pocket Dies. The die makes the perfect pocket to slide in a gift card, cash, or in this case a check (to cover the cost of their shipping charges). The Pocketful of Happiness Stamp Set coordinates with the dies and is one of my absolute favorites from the annual catalog! I have used it for so many birthday and thank you cards. It has great sentiments I use all the time!

You can color the images with blends, markers, watercolor pencils, etc. I was inspired by Erica Cerwin’s tone on tone card and adapted it for my note cards. I loved making these cards using the different patterns in the 6 x 6 In Color DSP.

These are really quick & easy to make! The DSP measures 3 x 4 1/2 and is adhered to a cardstock layer that is 1/8 larger. Stamp the pocket image in the same color ink as the cardstock and cut with the die. Fold and burnish the score lines and add adhesive to the folded flaps (I recommend Tear & Tape or Liquid Glue). Add Wink of Stella to the dove and a couple pearls on the flowers. I used the Delightful Tag Topper to punch a 2 x 3 1/4 piece of Whisper White cardstock to put in the pocket (along with the check). A simple knot with the Scalloped Linen Ribbon adds a nice touch and makes it easy to pull out the stamped note. Inside the card I stamped the pretty floral image at the top and added a sticky note to write a personal message. That way they can remove the sticky note and reuse the card to send to someone else! Pretty clever don’t you think?!

These make great birthday cards if you want to give cash or a gift card! Stamp the birthday sentiment from the set and you are done! Who wouldn’t love a pocketful of happiness like that?! Here’s some of the other ones I made using more In Colors!
