Mystery Monday Stampin’

Welcome back for another Mystery Monday Stampin’! I am really enjoying this challenge and hope you are too!

I have another cool fun fold card for you to create this week! One of the wonderful things I love about mystery stamping is you use what you have! Are you ready to choose your creative adventure and solve this week’s mystery? Grab your supplies, follow the clues, and see what your finished card looks like at the end — it’s always a fun surprise!

Yesterday I shared your first clue. If you missed that post (with the list of supplies), Click HERE for Clue #1

Now that you have your cardstock, designer series paper, and other supplies, it’s time to create! Simply follow the clues step by step to create a beautiful card. Feel free to add your own twist…there is no right or wrong way to do Mystery Monday Stampin’! Here are the rest of the clues:

CLUE #2
Score the 5 1/2 ” x 8 1/2″ cardstock along the long side @ 4 1/4″. Line up the open card base on paper trimmer at an angle and make a diagonal cut from the top center score line down to the bottom right corner. Now you can fold and burnish the score line with the diagonal flap on the front. (*You can save the triangle piece you cut off for another card or use to punch/die cut.)

CLUE #3
Adhere one of the 4 x 5 1/4 DSP to the inside of the card.

CLUE #4
Cut the other 4 x 5 1/4 DSP on an angle from the top left to the bottom right. Adhere triangle piece to the diagonal flap.
(*You can save the extra triangle piece for another card.)

CLUE #5
Score the 3 x 8 1/2 cardstock on the long side @ 4 1/4 to create a small card.

CLUE #6
Adhere the back side of the small card (with the fold at the top) to the inside of the larger card. It should be centered on the DSP layer allowing the diagonal flap to close on the inside of the opened small card. *The front of the small card will close over the diagonal flap.

CLUE #7
Create a focal point on the front of the small card using one of the 2 3/4  x 4 white cardstock pieces.  Stamp/die cut/punch image and/or sentiment, color/embellish/emboss however you want! Adhere the focal piece to the front of the card. Adhere the other 2 3/4 x 4 white cardstock on the inside of the small card to stamp a message.

CLUE #8
Does your card need anything else? Embellishments? A sentiment?
Add that now.

CLUE #9
Decorate your envelope (stamp/emboss/add DSP) to coordinate with your card.
