I love the sentiments and images in this set and know I will use them all! I showcased this stamp set in another Thanksgiving card I created. If you missed that post, you can view it HERE.

My second card features the Violet Dreams Designer Series Paper. I can’t seem to get enough of this paper pack. I love the color combination of Secret Sea, Fresh Freesia, and Peaceful Pine.

The sentiment on the front is from the Framed Violets Stamp Set which is part of the Violet Dreams Suite along with the ribbon and embellishment. One the inside of the card I used a favorite stamp set, Framed All Around (Last Chance item!!!!).

Welcome to my Mystery Monday Stampin’! I hope you are ready for a fun creative challenge!
This week’s mystery card combines two techniques into one card. One of the wonderful things I love about mystery stamping is you use what you have! Are you ready to choose your creative adventure and solve this week’s mystery? Grab your supplies, follow the clues, and see what your finished card looks like at the end — it’s always a fun surprise.

CLUE #1 -Gather your supplies!  *You will create a landscape style card.

  • Cardstock  – 4 1/4 x 11, 4 1/4 x 3 1/4
  • Basic White Cardstock – 2 x 4
  • Designer Series Paper (coordinating patterns)–1 x 4 (H), 2 x 4(H), 3 x 4(H), extra for envelope (*optional)
  • Accent/Sentiment piece
  • Envelope
  • Stamps
  • Ink
  • Adhesive
  • Ribbon/Embellishments of choice (optional)
  • Tools – Trimmer/Score Board, Bone Folder
  • *Optional – coloring tools, die cut/punch, Cut & Emboss Machine

CLUE #2
Score the 4 1/4 x 11 cardstock along the 11″ side @ at 2 1/8, 4 1/4, 5 ½. Fold & burnish score lines. Fold in half on the 5 ½ score line then fold back on the 4 ¼ and 2 1/8 score lines.

CLUE #3
Add adhesive to the space between the 5 ½ and 4 ¼ score lines then close to adhere.

CLUE #4
Adhere 1×4 DSP strip to the front of the card on the outside left edge along the “bookbinding” feature (leaving an equal space border along the top, bottom, and side). Adhere 2×4 DSP on the right edge on the inside of the card (leaving an equal space border along the top, bottom, and side).

CLUE #5
Adhere 3×4 DSP to the 3 1/3 x 4 1/4 cardstock layer.

CLUE #6
Fold back the Z fold feature and add adhesive to the top panel. Center the 3 1/4 x 4 1/4  layered cardstock piece over the adhesive and adhere to “z-fold” feature. *Note: This cardstock piece is centered over the z fold not the card front. It will be offset on the card front so that you see less of the left DSP and more of the right DSP.

CLUE #7
Stamp a greeting/image on the 2 x 4 white cardstock and adhere inside the card butting up next to the 2 x 4 DSP.

CLUE #8
Add a focal point/sentiment to the front of the card.

CLUE #9
Does your card need anything else? Embellishments, etc.? Add that now.

CLUE #10
Decorate your envelope (stamp/emboss/add DSP) to coordinate with your card.
