A Quick Tip for Cleaning Your Blocks, Customer Gifts, Blog Candy, and More!

I started the new year off with a long over due cleaning and reorganizing my craft room! It feels good to start off with a clean space! When it comes to cleaning my blocks I would put it off as long as possible. Until recently that is! I discovered the surplus of alcohol wipes I had leftover from my foot surgery work great for cleaning my blocks! No more trips to the sink to wash and scrub…the alcohol wipes make clean up quick & easy and leave my blocks sparkling!

I keep my blocks in the top drawer on my right for quick & easy access when stamping. Here’s a peek inside.

I purchased the alcohol wipes from Amazon.

  1. I like the Melon Mambo & I love this DSP!! I really like pink but not I’m not crazy about red.
My tip: Before removing your dies from the SU cardstock that they arrive on, put the cardstock (with the dies still in place) into your printer & copy. Then cut down the copy & attach to your magnetic sheet. Your dies will stick with no problem. You will always know where your dies belong & if you are missing a die. This works well with die sets that have a lot of small dies.

  2. What cute and simple treat holder Jeanie! 🩷❤️ I like both colors but I think I prefer the red.
One tip that I can share is to tie a bit of ribbon around your roll of glue dots to keep them neat and tidy!

  3. Love these little heart treat holders. You always have great ideas ! And I utilize them too ! I have a box of etoh wipes I bought at Publix. They really do clean those blocks ! My tip is with new stamps , especially the clear ones , stamp w/ Versamark 1st. They will then stamp beautifully!! Works every time !!

  4. Good Morning Jeanie and Friends! I like the red heart better. Of course, they are both nice. My hint is this . . . I keep pre-printed card “insides” for sympathy, birthdays, and belated birthdays, etc. When I’m in a rush I can take an insert and pop it into a blank card and I’m ready.
    Have a blessed day.

    1. Thanks Nancy for sharing this tip! I usually wait to stamp the inside until I know who it is going to. I lvoe your idea of having some stamped and ready to go so all I have to do is adhere!

  5. Love the heart treat holder, especially the real red one though the other is just as cute. While I have alcohol wipes out, I also wipe off my cutter, the flat part as well as the track. It helps get off the little glue globs as well as the lint. I have been using them on my blocks for quite awhile as well as my stamparatus plate.

  6. I love them both but would probably go with the red. Love ready all the tips in the comments,an added “treat”. Thanks
