Marbled Elegance Tea Light Box

Today’s project is a quick & easy slider box I created for some heart shaped tea light candles. I love to create gifts to have on hand. These heart shaped tea lights make a great hostess gift or for a coworker/friend’s birthday. This is perfect for enjoying a relaxing bath after a long day (stamping! LOL). Stampin' Up! Supplies/Measurements:

Basic White Thick Cardstock – 8 1/4″ x 3 3/4″
Melon Mambo cardstock – 6 1/4″ x 6 1/2″
Gold Foil – 6″ x 1 1/2″
Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper – 5 3/4″ x 1 1/4″
ribbon

Directions:

Score the Basic White cardstock on each side at 1″. Trim off the corners to form triangles and cut two slots on opposite sides to form corner flaps.
Apply Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the corners and fold in to form your base.

Score the Melon Mambo cardstock along the 6 1/2″ side at 1 13/16″, 2 7/8″, 4 11/16″, & 5 3/4″
Apply Liquid Glue to the 3/4″ flap, fold to close to adhere & form your wrap.

Adhere the Gold Foil layer and the patterned paper.
Wrap ribbon and tie a simple knot.

Pop-Out Fun Fold for Mystery Stampin’ with Pretty Florals & Marbled Elegance…Free PDF

This is a simple fun fold to create. I’d like to give a shout out to LeeAnn Greff who inspired me to create this fun fold for Mystery Stampin’. You’ll find the PDF at the end of this post but first I thought I’d share the basic measurements I got from LeeAnn.

Measurements:

Card Base– 4 1/4” x 11 ” scored @ 2 3/4, 5 1/2, & 8 1/4
Cardstock for brace –7 1/2 x 1 scored @ 1, 3, & 4 1/2
Designer Series Paper- 4 pieces @ 2 1/2 x 4
Basic White – 2 pieces @ 2 1/2 x 4 (for back)
Scraps for die cuts for focal piece (on brace)

I love how this card pops forward and appears to be floating.
This card can be displayed full view or with the ends tucked back.

I love two-step stamping! It makes creating these pretty flowers so easy! I stamped the flower details in Pumpkin Pie ink then filled in with Peach Pie. I used the Spotlight on Nature Dies to layer the flower image. I stamped my envelope to coordinate.

For my second card I die cut a heart for my focal piece.

I used the Hearts of Elegance Dies and the Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper. The Hearts of Elegance Stamp Set and Dies are on the last Chance Product List and are on sale for 20% OFF! I love the gold foil in the DSP. I decided to highlight the gold by adding a gold banner, gold thread, heart embellishment, and heat embossed the sentiment in gold.

I created this card for a wedding but you could also use it for Valentine’ Day, new baby, anniversary, or just to let someone know you’re thinking of them.
I like it displayed either way! Which do you prefer?

I adhered a gift card on back using a few mini glue dots. You could easily add a pocket if you prefer.

I decided to get fancy with the Fancy Border Dies for my envelope! I added a peek-through effect with the heart pattern and a 3/4″ strip of DSP.

Marbled Elegance Heart Box for Tic Tac Toe Challenge #263

Welcome to the first Tic Tac Toe Challenge of 2025! This week’s challenge board has fun elements to create quick & easy projects!

I created a treat box using the elements across the top: hearts, designer paper, love sentiment.

This is a quick & easy project! I created the box then adhered the die cut hearts to the top and bottom of the box. The box holds 2 Hershey nuggets.
Here are the details:

Measurements:

Melon Mambo Cardstock: 4 x 3 3/8 (box bottom), 4 1/16 x 3 7/16 (box top), 2 @ 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 to die cut 2 hearts, 1 @ 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 to die cut smaller heart
DSP (Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper): 2 @ 1 x 3 (to wrap Hershey nuggets), 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 to die cut heart
Gold Foil: 1 1/2 x 3 to die cut “love” from Paper Pumpkin Love of Spring Dies

Directions:

Score both box pieces at 1″ on all 4 sides. Cut and notch score lines as shown below.
Fold and burnish score lines. Use Tear & Tape (or strong adhesive) on tabs as shown. Tuck and adhere tabs inside to form box.
Start with the smaller/bottom of the box. Apply liquid glue to the bottom of the box then adhere to the die cut heart as shown below.
Wrap Hershey nuggets with DSP using Mini Glue Dots. Embellish with Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins and place inside the box.
Repeat step 2 to assemble box top same as bottom.
Place top of box over the bottom box.
Layer DSP heart to cardstock heart.
Apply liquid glue to top of box and adhere layered heart on top.
Adhere smaller heart on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere word sentiment on top.
