I started the new year off with a long over due cleaning and reorganizing my craft room! It feels good to start off with a clean space! When it comes to cleaning my blocks I would put it off as long as possible. Until recently that is! I discovered the surplus of alcohol wipes I had leftover from my foot surgery work great for cleaning my blocks! No more trips to the sink to wash and scrub…the alcohol wipes make clean up quick & easy and leave my blocks sparkling!

Heres how to create these Valentine treat holders…

Die cut two pieces of the Designer Series Paper using Hearts of Elegance Dies.
Fold each heart in half.
Overlap hearts with points connecting at the bottom. Use Tear ‘n Tape to adhere the hearts together. Flip over and adhere the other side.
Die cut smaller heart in coordinating cardstock.
Stamp sentiment on heart with Versamark and heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder.
Adhere heart to treat holder with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Embellish with Adhesive-backed Heart Sequins.
Fill with treats!

I love to make table favors for all the holidays as well as little thank you treats to give out throughout the year. Here’s what I created for our Christmas dinner table this year.

To create the holder, simply cut out the die and fold along the score lines. Add a dab of glue along the edges and fold to adhere.

12 Days of Christmas Bonus…6×6 DSP Treat Holder

Today I have a Bonus Project to share with you that was included in my 12 Days of Christmas Craft Along Kit. I really appreciate those who order my kits and shop my online store and I like to thank them with little treats and notes. I used the Take A Bow 6×6 Designer Series Paper to create quick & easy fun fold treat holders.

These would be fun to make for your holiday table. Add any sentiment, die cut, or stamped image. You could also put a tip in the pocket with the chocolate and give to your waitress, hairdresser, etc. So many possibilities!

To Create this Project

Step 1: Start with a piece of 6×6 DSP.
Step 2: Fold the paper diagonally, corner to corner. (Use a bone folder to burnish.)

Step 3: Take your triangle and fold in each corner to the opposite side going straight across.

Step 4: Repeat with the opposite corner.

Step 5: Fold the front flap down over the two previous folds.

Step 6: Insert Ghirardelli Chocolate in pocket and embellish as desired.
No Adhesive needed!

* I stamped sentiment in Garden Green, punched with Circle Punch, added a few Real Red & White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints, and adhered circle layer to flap with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
