If you were lucky enough to grab the Bunny Punch before it went on backorder, I have a fun and simple card and treat box idea for you today. The good news is the Easter Bunny Stamp set is available and will carry over to the 2023 – 2024 Annual Catalog. You could easily stamp and fussy cut the bunny until it is back in stock. I love the adorable bunny for Easter or baby cards!

Stampin’ Up! released the retirement list last week and one of my favorite dies for 3D Projects, the Pretty Pillow Box Dies, is retiring. As you can see from today’s project these dies can make more than just pillow boxes.

This is such a fun project. You can tuck Ghirardelli treats (bunnies or squares), a little cash, gift certificate, or other treat in the pocket. How cool would it be to give the new parents a photo session gift certificate for their newest family member?!

I embossed the front with the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D embossing folder before gluing the sides of the pocket. Just punch and adhere the bunny with some Stampin’ Dimensionals, stamp a sentiment at the top, and you’re done!

A Farewell to 2022!

New Year’s Eve is always a day of reflection for me. I also think about goals for the year ahead. I’m a firm believer in finding joy in every day! I admit some days are harder than others but I try to look for something good in each situation and it’s usually there if I look hard enough. This past year has certainly had it’s ups and downs…I lost my mom, adopted a nine year old rescue dog, remodeled and organized my craft room, and had many fun adventures with family and friends! One goal I definitely have for the new year is to blog more often. I have been creating a lot but unfortunately so many projects never make it on the blog. I miss interacting with you! As I look back at the past year I thought I’d share some of my favorite projects. *Click on the image to view the original post with all the details.

My godson welcomed his first child just before the holidays. I couldn’t wait to meet him so a quick trip to Massachusetts was in order. I love to give books and it’s always fun to make a card to coordinate.

This is one of my favorite fun fold cards because it is so quick & easy to create! The challenge was I didn’t have any stamps with mice to go with the book. (How can that be???) I pulled an idea from my teaching days (and children’s author Leo Lionni) and created my own mouse with torn paper. It was fun and simple to do! I love being able to use what I have! The inside sentiment is not Stampin’ Up! but one I’ve had in my stash for years. It was perfect to go with this gift.

Here’s the details to make this fun fold:

Card Base: 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2 *Cut 2 3/4″ from one end.
Basic White: 2 1/2 x 4 (front), 4 x 5 1/4 (inside)
Designer Series Paper: 2 1/2 x 4, 2 x 6 (envelope flap)
Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride scraps: Die cut Stitched Stars and create mouse from torn paper.
