Welcome back for another Mystery Monday Stampin’! I hope you are ready for a fun creative challenge! One of the wonderful things I love about mystery stamping is you use what you have! Are you ready to choose your creative adventure and solve this week’s mystery? Grab your supplies, follow the clues, and see what your finished card looks like at the end — it’s always a fun surprise!
This week’s mystery card can be landscape (horizontal) or portrait (vertical). You decide which way you want your card to go! Let’s get started! Yesterday I shared your first clue. If you missed that post (with the list of supplies), Click HERE for Clue #1
Now that you have your cardstock, designer series paper, and other supplies, it’s time to create! Simply follow the clues step by step to create a beautiful card. Feel free to add your own twist…there is no right or wrong way to do Mystery Monday Stampin’! Here are the rest of the clues:
CLUE #2
Score the 4 1/4″ x 11″ cardstock along the long side @ 1, 2 1/4, 4 1/4 , & 5 1/2. Fold and burnish the score lines.
CLUE #3
Fold the card base at the 4 1/4 score line. With the card base flat, add adhesive to the 1″ section on top then tuck the 1″ section under to adhere to the card base. (You will have created a box that pops up.)
CLUE #4
Decide if you want your card to be portrait style with the box at the bottom or landscape style with the box on the left side.
CLUE #5
Adhere the 3 designer series paper layers. *The 1 x 4 piece adheres to the side/top of the box depending on which orientation you choose.
CLUE #6
Create a focal image on the 2 x 4 1/4 “box” section. Stamp/die cut/punch image, color/embellish/emboss however you want! Adhere layer to card.
CLUE #7
Adhere the 4 x 5 1/2 Basic White layer on the back for your message.
CLUE #8
Does your card need anything else? Embellishments? A sentiment?
Add that now.
CLUE #9
Decorate your envelope (stamp/emboss/add DSP) to coordinate with your card. The box section folds flat to fit in the envelope. It pops up to display.
