Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Do you have a favorite football team or do you watch the game for the halftime show and/or the commercials?  I know my friend Rosanne is cheering for the Eagles (and I often lose when I bet against her); however, I am hoping for the Chiefs to win 3 in a row! Masculine cards are usually a struggle for me; however, the new Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper and a simple card sketch made creating these cards quick & easy! I have 3 cards to share with you today (in honor of the Chiefs 3rd Super Bowl WIN in a row! LOL)

Stamp Sets Shown: Unbounded Love, So Sincere, Layering Leaves

Measurements:
Card Base: 5 1⁄2 x 8 1⁄2 score @ 4 1/4
DSP (Timeless Plaid): 3 x 4, 2 3⁄4 x 3, 2 x 6 (envelope)
Basic White: scrap to die cut sentiment with Unbounded Love Die,
                         5 1⁄4 x 4 (inside layer)
Cardstock: Scraps to punch with Bough Punch, 1⁄4 x 6 (envelope)
Embellishment: 2023-2025 In Color Jute Trim

*Tip for cutting your 6×6 DSP to create this card:

  • First cut 2 x 6 piece from the top or bottom (for envelope flap) 
  • Then cut 4 x 6 piece in 1/2 to get your 3 x 4 piece (adhere to left side)
  • Rotate and cut remaining piece at 2 3/4 x 3 (use pattern on opposite side)

  1. Good Morning Jeanie, I would have loved if the NY Giants won the SuperBowl today, but let’s not even go there! I’m rooting for Philadelphia to win Super Bowl LIX. I always go for the underdog! The Chiefs won the Super Bowl four times vs the Eagles only once. I honestly think the Chiefs will win today. Looking forward to a good game.

  5. Chiefs for me for the historical win even though a previous Hawkeye is on the Eagles team. I love your cards for the DSP as well as the layout. So hard to pick a favorite but the Boho blue maybe went for the first down. I think it will be the first to CASE. I need a masculine card in a week so I really appreciate these. My plaids arrived last week. Thanks for the measurements.

  8. I am torn I would like to see KC make NFL history but I like Saquon Barkley of the Eagles (formerly of the Giants) and would like him to be a part of a Superbowl Winner. Some of my friends may say I am a fraud cause actually I am a Jets fan ( I can barely remember when Broadway Joe led the Jets to their Superbowl win)

    I love today’s cards and my favorite is boho blue… the color makes the card really pop.

  9. Love these card ideas. I offer a March Masculine Card Class and these will help with my ideas. I will credit you for the ideas and tips. Football? Hubby is a fan of course. I like hockey and basketball….but plan to spend my day in my happy place….My Craft studio.
