Playing in the Rain

We’ve had some crazy weather on the eastern shore lately. My fur baby, Bo, does not like the rain and he does not do well with thunder storms! After a rough night I am thankful the sun is shining and Bo is happy! Here’s an adorable card I made using the Playing in the Rain Stamp Set and one of the new In Colors, Pretty in Pink.

This set includes playful animal and nature designs that you can use as a focal point or to embellish your cards. Pair the images with the cute sentiments from this set or with your favorite greeting for more versatility! Perfect for coloring, use the coloring tool and technique of your choice.
I used Stampin’ Blends to color the images. I stamped the flowers across the inside layer as well as the front of the envelope.

  1. i ABSOLUTELY LOVE this card. It looks like spring. I am on the eastern shore of Maryland and we have received WAY too much rain since the end of March! Been at the beach for a week and it has rained for a lot of it. We still have fun. Thanks for the inspiration. I love that stamp set too!

    1. THanks Gail! I always say a rainy day at the beach is still better than a day anywhere else! I wonder if we are close in proximity! I live in Easton, MD

  2. I agree! I love that little turtle with his sideways glance! My youngest grandson gives us that look all the time, so I couldn’t help but send him a card with the turtle and his cute expression. I’m also a fan of that blocking pattern. Super cute card!

    1. Thanks karen! I am sure your grandson loved his card! I am a fan of that turtle!

  3. Love the blocking pattern, too. Perfect for small bits and bobs. My grandkids love making what they call “puzzle cards”! They’ll spend forever using small pieces to make a card front.
    Thanks for the adorable inspiration.
