It’s National Dog Day! Check out my Pawsitively Paw-some Offer!

National Dog Day is an opportunity to celebrate our relationship with our dogs. Last year we adopted a 9 year old rescue dog named Bo and my heart grew more than I ever imagined possible!! Adopting an older rescue dog has filled our lives with so much joy and happiness! I love to celebrate life’s blessings and Bo is certainly one of those blessings! We celebrated his “Gotcha Day” on Monday and his 10th birthday on Wednesday.

We had a fun birthday “paw-ty” for Bo. I’ll share a few photos below but, first I want to tell you about my Pawsitively Paw-some Offer…

If you follow me on Facebook you know I repurpose shells into gifts, home decor, celebration of life/wedding/baby/shower favors, etc. In honor of Bo’s birthday and National Dog Day I created these pawprint trinket dishes and  coordinating card.
Oyster shell pawprint trinket dishes and coordinating 3x3 pawprint card. Gift idea for vet, pet sitter, loss of pet, pet birthday, friends. Visit juststampin.com to order. Jeanie Stark Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
These make great gifts for your vet, dog or cat sitter, pet loving friends, neighbors, etc. You could also give one in memory of a special pet or to celebrate a pet’s adoption or birthday. If you are interested in purchasing one (or more) of these shells email me (j.stark@goeaston.net) or visit my facebook page (facebook.com/juststampin/). Cost: $15 each plus shipping (includes coordinating card). Proceeds from the sale of these shells will be donated to PetConnect Rescue (petconnectrescue.org).

Pets bring joy to so many people every single day including my own family. The adoration, companionship, and unconditional love has made such a difference in our life. I believe we should follow in dogs ‘pawprints’ and make a difference for others as well.”
Do you have someone that’s hard to buy for? You could make a donation to PetConnect Rescue (or your local shelter/rescue) in their honor and gift them one of the trinket dishes and card to let them know. Click HERE if you want to read more about the rescue and how to donate.

  1. Good Morning Jeanie! Happy/Gotcha Birthday to Bo. Great pictures and so much love at that table. We grand-furry-baby sit for our daughter’s Chocolate Lab. He has a favorite Kong toy which is worse than a pacifier for a baby. When we couldn’t find it, we had to go buy an extra one. You know that never happened again! He also learned how to open a desk draw, from underneath, to get the toy whenever he comes. He is 12 now and we are praying for a couple of more years with him!!!
    Have a blessed day.

    1. WOW! THat is one smart lab your daughter has! We would take care of Susan’s dog, Milo when she went out of town and that is what led to us getting our own. Just saying…LOL
