More Birthday Wishes

I absolutely LOVED reading the comments yesterday with stories of your birthday memories. Thank you so much for sharing!!!  It just reaffirms my feelings on “gifts”…it’s not what you get, it’s who you spend your time with! My husband and I like to give our children a “birthday experience” each year.  Fads come and go but memories last a lifetime! And when you give an experience, everyone enjoys the gift! Many family trips have been someone’s “gift”.

Speaking of gifts…Sharing handmade kindness is a gift from the heart! When someone takes the time to write a note inside a card and/or make a card, it is a “gift” in and of itself! I treasure the handwritten notes and cards from my kids over the years as well as those I’ve received from friends and family. I bet you do too! My friend Laura always sends me a beautiful letter in her card every year. We used to teach together in Virginia many years ago and she always shares a memory from our “adventures in teaching” that makes me smile.

Yesterday I shared some of the beautiful birthday cards I received.  If you missed that post you can see it HERE.  Today I have a few more cards (and a “special delivery”) to share with you from some of my very talented stamping friends…

There’s still time to receive some birthday blog candy.  Leave me a comment sharing a favorite birthday memory or surprise and I will pick a random winner to receive one of my birthday party favor bags.  Anyone who shops with me this month will automatically receive my birthday party favors…a goodie bag with one of my Tutti-frutti pens, card kits, and more!

Have a great day!

  3. Beautiful cards, and all well-deserved. You give each of us so much throughout the year that it’s wonderful to see it returned to you. I hope your birthday time with friends and family has been especially joyful. And bravo to Ariana for following so perfectly in her mom’s creative footsteps. What a treasure!
