A Birthday Fiesta

Birthday Fiesta from the Stampin’ Up!  Festive Birthday Suite

I made these two cards at the Make & Take in Atlanta for World Card Making Day.  I have several friends who enjoy Mexican food and these cards will be perfect for them! I embellished the cards by fussy cutting designs from the Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper to add the sombreros as well as the pinata, maracas, and guitar on the cards and envelopes.

Bright & Playful Birthday Card created using products from the Stampin’ Up! Festive Birthday Suite

  1. Oh Jeanie , I love this whole collection ! I have not used mine yet ,but I have some fun ideas to try . I am waiting for warmer weather to create something with the paper and that adorable Llama ! Wonder if I could do an Easter Llama ???
Your cards are so cute and colorful ! Great ideas to CASE !
    Adios !!

  2. Oh Sonny, of course you can add some bunny ears to the llama! Trust me I would be if I had this set. Maybe I will bring out the Christmas llama and add bunny ears but right now I am thinking moose still but bunny ears on a moose with the antlers doesn’t mix real well. Ummmm I need to think on this!

  3. Oh sorry Jeanie I thought I was replying to Sonny’s comment. I think your cards are very cute and the mixing of the patterns is the best!

I received the swap card in the mail today. I can’t wait to find out the creator and thank the person. This was so much fun and I can’t wait to see all of them! Thanks Jeanie for taking this project on!

  4. Loved these cards from WCMD. Didn’t buy the stamp and die set but did get the paper–love it for so many other things because of the color pallet. Thanks for inspiring me to get it out and use it again…we get so caught up in the newest stuff that we forget some the goodies that have been around more than a month! Have a restful weekend. Only a few short weeks till Richmond, so GET READY!!
