Card Swap…Day 1

I’m excited to share some of the beautiful cards from my first Just Stampin’ Card Swap! You are in for a treat with some fun folds and lovely layers. The collection of cards I’ll be sharing over the next few days might not all have current Stampin’ Up! products, but every card gives good ideas for color combinations, layouts, and techniques. Let the inspiration begin…

How awesome are those?!  Please leave a comment below to let these artists know how much you love their creations. If you participated in the swap and don’t see the card you received here, please wait to comment about that card when it is showcased. That way, the creator of that card will be sure to see your comments. Thank you to everyone who participated!  It was so much fun getting “Happy Mail”! Check back tomorrow for more card swap inspiration.

Have a wonderful day!

  1. All very beautiful. My favorite was Chris from Iowa. I loved the layout and colors. Can’t wait to case. Thank you.

    1. Thanks Sharon. I must tell you that the background is all done in Washi tape and I had the inspiration from Lisa Pretto for that idea. The rest of the card is easy and not usually colors I work with. So it was fun to make and can be for birthdays etc.

      1. Well Chris, I haven’t used Washi tape enough! Thanks for the inspiration and reminder how pretty you can make a card using tape. I think we all tend to create with our favorite colors. I commend you for going outside your usual colors and creating such a gorgeous card! Thanks for participating in the card swap!

  2. One of each please. I enjoy the different ranges of crafty goodness. A shout to my dear friend Sonny on her simple yet simple card. Also to Ramsey, love your unique border highlighting the sentiment. Hope to participate in the next one. Wonderful job everyone.!

    1. Sonny, you are so sweet to leave such kinds words for each of the designers! I agree that these are all CASE worthy!!! I apologize for my lack of photography skills. There is no doubt they are even more fabulous in person. Everyone should recreate these cards to see their true beauty! It is hard to get the lighting right to showcase the glimmer paper.
