Welcome to my alphabet series showcasing some of the new products in the 2017 Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs. Today I am showcasing the Love Notes Framelits Dies from the Sending Love Suite featured on pages 14 in the catalog. I made several projects today using these dies and photos.
These photos are of my daughter’s cat, Storm. Ariane rescued her and 4 of her brothers and sisters from a storm drain. They were frostbitten and needed to be bottle fed. We found homes for the other 4 kittens but Storm and Ariane had bonded. For 6 years this cat slept with her, sat on her lap while she worked on her computer, and followed her around like a puppy dog. Storm even waited outside the bathroom door while she showered! I don’t know who misses my daughter more, the cat or me! I’m sending this card, picture frame, and thank you notes in her Valentine’s Day care package.
I love photography as much as I love stamping! This Valentine card and coordinating envelope were quick & easy to make using the Love Notes Framelits Dies and Sending Love Stamp Set. I purchased this set as a bundle and saved 10%.
Look at all these dies…14 of them! I love the mini envelope die! You can even remove the little note from inside the envelope. How adorable! I wanted it to look like Storm was bringing the note to her.
I cut the die from the Sending Love Glassine Sheets. The note was stamped on Blushing Bride cardstock with Sweet Sugarplum ink. The colors match Storm’s cute little nose and ears! I used glue dots to adhere the envelope. I even stamped the back of the envelope and added a die cut heart.
I purchased the cute little silver picture frame at the Dollar Store! (I certainly didn’t break the bank on this gift!) I stamped the sentiment and then die cut the cluster of hearts from the set and attached it to the picture frame with 2 mini glue dots. Easy does it!
My daughter’s favorite color is purple and I was so excited when I found purple wrapped KitKat candy! The perfect gift from her kitty!
I always make my daughter’s thank you cards and she sent out the last of her thank you notes after Christmas. I used some more photos of her cat and made these thank you notes using the Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes. You get 20 note cards & envelopes for $6.00…I think that’s the best deal in the catalog! I use them all the time for thank you notes! I printed the 2 x 3 photos at CVS. I got 4 per sheet for just 35 cents!
I used the Falling Petals Embossing Folder to emboss the front of the card. I couldn’t decide which I liked better for the mini envelope… smoky slate or blushing bride. What do you think? I stamped the thanks from Suite Sentiments and wrapped the mini envelope with black baker’s twine. I love these stinkin’ cute mini envelopes with removable notes! This card would be great for our cat sitter too!
Here’s a few more ideas showcasing the Love Notes Framelits Dies and Sending Love Stamp Set. I made these 3 x 3 notes at the Stampin’ Up! convention back in November.

You are so clever! Your daughter is going to love these! And want a great shot of Storm! I like the Smoky Slate! I can’t wait to case those 3 x 3 note cards!!!!
CASE away, my friend! These dies are so much fun to play with! Cool 3D hearts too!
What a nice gift to give your daughter. I am sure this will make her day (probably year)! You come up with great ideas. I like the Smokey Slate version too. Enjoy!
Thanks Mary Ann! I think the Smoky Slate just seems to go with Storm! 🙂
What a FABULOUS post — Your ideas are so awesome and inspiring and this is no exception! Your daughter is going to be over-the-moon!
Thanks Deb! She’s a pretty amazing daughter!
Jeanie,
I just ordered yesterday and totally forgot that I wanted to order the Sending Love Glassine Sheets. Next time you order will you please order a pack for me?
Thanks,
~M~
P.S. Love the cat theme and the pics. Too cute! My Smokey looks like Storm. A friend gave me a birthday card with a grey cat on the front. On the outside the card says, “Smokey thinks you’re looking a little older, a little grayer, a little droopier.” On the inside it says, “Then again, Smokey licks his own butt, so maybe don’t listen to Smokey.” I absolutely howled when I read it and everyone in the restaurant was looking at me!
You had me LOL when I read the punch line! Thanks for sharing! I knew you would love the cat theme! I’ll order the glassine sheets for you. Also have your paper shares. 🙂
adorable!!! Ariane will love these
Thanks Cindy! She loves her kitty!
Lucky daughter to have such a thoughtful and creative mom. Lucky mom to have a daughter who appreciates and “gets” her passion and talent.
Love this round of the alphabet series. Discovered your blog during the last series and look forward to you posts: always inspiring.
Thanks Linda! I have ABC’s on my brain all morning in my Pre-K classroom and it just carries over to my stamping world after school. 🙂
