Yesterday I shared with you a “wicked good” treat I made with the Spooky Cat Suite. If you missed that post you can see it HERE. Today’s projects use another one of my favorite suites in the new Holiday catalog, Painted Autumn.
I love the new pizza boxes in the Holiday Catalog! They fit 3 x 3 note cards and envelopes as well as gift cards, jewelry, and more. They’re also food safe and perfect for a large homemade cookie or fudge. YUM! Read on to see what I found to put in mine.
The Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper has sunflowers, pumpkins, acorns, and much more painted in a beautiful retro style, echoing motifs from the Painted Harvest Stamp Set.
Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper Item # 144613

I cut a 3 x 3 piece of the DSP, layered it with a piece of 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 Cajun Craze Cardstock, and adhered it to the top of the pizza box. I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso on a scrap piece of Cajun Craze and punched it out with the Pretty Label Punch. I love the sentiments and font in the Painted Harvest Stamp Set.
Painted Harvest Stamp Set Item # 144783

I adhered the burlap ribbon and Touches of Nature Embellishment with Glue Dots and popped up the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I was so excited with what I found to put inside…chocolate covered autumn leaves (from Cracker Barrel).
The colors are perfect with the DSP! I layered the DSP on the inside (using the same measurements as the top of the box) and cut out the stamped sentiment using the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I also cut 4 strips of DSP (3/4 x 3) and layering cardstock (1 x 3 1/4) for the sides of the pizza box. I love how this little gift turned out!
I can never make just one when I’m playing with new products! I love the sunflower print paper and made the DSP layer on the top of this one 1/4″ larger.
The DSP measures 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 and the Crushed Curry layer measures 3 3/8 x 3 3/8. I fussy cut the sunflower on top from the DSP. How easy is that?! The leaves are 2 step stamped in Wild Wasabi and punched out with the coordinating Leaf Punch. I also punched one in vellum and tucked them in. I love how the leaves I cut from the DSP match so nice with my stamped leaves. Stampin’ Up! does such a great job color coordinating our products! I used the Early Espresso marker to just ink up part of the sentiment to make my little tag. The finishing touch was adding some Black Rhinestone Jewels in the center of the sunflower.
