Little Ladybug Mini Curvy Keepsake Box & More

I have been having so much fun playing with the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box Dies. The Dies were a Holiday Favorite (as well as a favorite of mine) and the set is still available in my online store. Earlier this week I shared a Honey Bee I project made and filled with a Lindt chocolate bee. Today, I’m sharing a cute ladybug box with another Lindt chocolate critter!

These boxes are quick & easy to cut and put together!  You can get 2 out of 1 sheet of cardstock or 4 out of a sheet of DSP. I cut the die out of Garden Green and then embossed it with the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder.  The only adhesive I needed was to decorate the front of the box! I stamped the images from the Little Ladybug Stamp Set, colored the flower and ladybug with Stampin’ Blends, and cut everything out with the coordinating Ladybug Dies. Take a peek at what it looks like when you open it!

Stampin' Up! Honey Bee Mini Curvy Keepsake Box idea - Jeanie Stark StampinUp

For this project I cut the box from the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series paper. I stamped the bee from the Honey Bee Stamp Set and cut it out with the Detailed Bee Dies.  Then I cut the bee in half and used a glue dot to attach each half on the sides of the opening.  The Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper couldn’t “bee” more perfect for this project, right down to the bees and hives on the inside pattern!

I made over 50 of these apples filled with caramels for the teachers for back to school!

For this project I stamped the cardstock before assembling the box. These were used as our Thanksgiving table favors.

Stampin Up Touches of Texture and Perennial Birthday embossed Birthday card idea - Jeanie Stark StampinUp
I love to make birthday cards! Several friends have birthdays this month so I decided to make a birthday card for card club this month. I used one of my favorite color combinations, yellow and black.  What’s funny is without even realizing it I wore a pair of yellow capris with a black top to card club.  One of the ladies pointed out I “matched my card”.  LOL

The floral image is from the Touches of Texture Stamp Set. Stampin Up Touches of Texture Stamp set - visit juststampin.com to order Jeanie Stark StampinUp

This set of 15 images feature an eclectic array of useful and fun styles which are great for focal points or backgrounds. The textures and elements in this stamp set will add dimension and character to any of your cards.

I always like to give several options for sentiments to my card club members and this month I also shared several different embossing folder options.Stampin Up Touches of Texture embossed Birthday card idea - Jeanie Stark StampinUp

I love embossing folders! They are such a quick & easy (and inexpensive!) way to add texture and dimension. You really get a big bang for your buck. I like to emboss the envelopes too! I used the Layered Leaves, Tufted, and Subtle Embossing Folders.  Here is a closer look at each.

I even embossed the little flag on the last one with the Subtle folder.  It reminds me of linen fabric.

You could use a variety of sentiments with this card design. The sentiments I used are from Beautiful Bouquet and Perennial Birthday. I stamped each in Memento Black ink.

Thankful for my Stampin’ Sisters

When I joined Stampin’ Up! 4 years ago I never dreamed how much it would enrich my life. Stampin’ Up! is much more than a company with great papercrafting products. It is a community filled with amazing people with the biggest hearts. I am ever so grateful for the kindness and support from my “Stampin’ Sisters” following the loss of a dear friend. I have been busy making thank you cards this weekend.

Stampin Up Painted Harvest Thank You card idea - Jeanie Stark StampinUp

This clean and simple card is made with some of my favorite things. I absolutely love the Painted Harvest Bundle in the Holiday Catalog!  The good news is the Painted Harvest stamp set and leaf punch will carry over after the holiday catalog retires on January 2nd.  However, you will no longer be able to purchase it as a bundle (and save 10%) after Jan. 2nd! (If you don’t already own this set, you can save even more by purchasing it tomorrow during the 24 hours of Free shipping!)

The base of my card is my favorite go to for thank you cards, Stampin’ Up! Note Cards and Envelopes! Biggest bang for your buck (20 note cards & envelopes for $6)! I embossed the envelope flap and very vanilla layer on my card with the Layered Leaves embossing folder (another one of my favorite items). I adhered the burlap ribbon with a strip of Tear & Tape and punched two leaves from Old Olive cardstock.  The sentiment is stamped in Crumb Cake ink, punched out with the Pretty Label Punch, and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Quick & easy with a little added texture!

Here are some beautiful flowers, cards, and gifts I received from team members and friends.
