Happy Thursday! You know what that means… it’s time for another Tic Tac Toe Challenge! I love these challenges as they get me creating with different elements I might not have used otherwise. Today’s project is a great one! And it’s super simple and quick to create!
Here’s the Tic Tac Toe Challenge board that provided my inspiration.
I chose the diagonal: CAS (Clean And Simple), Pink, Embossing for my project today.
I love to make these covered notepads to give as gifts. They are great for a hostess, friend, …really just about anyone! I always bring one to my sister and my daughter when I visit. We love to play card games and are always looking for paper to keep score. Personally, I am lost without my daily “To Do” list! I love that with just some simple decorating I have a pretty notepad on my desk!
I used the gorgeous Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper. There’s only 12 days left to grab this paper for FREE!!! During Sale-A-Bration you can choose a free gift for every $50 you spend. I love this patterned paper!

The Fragrant Flowers Bundle in the Mini Catalog coordinates with this paper. I used the dies from the bundle to cut the flower from the DSP.
The Pretty Flowers embossing folder compliments the floral patterns nicely.
Here are some more 5 x 8 covered notepads I made with different patterns.
For these I used the Go To Greetings Stamp Set. “Just A Note” was perfect for these notepads. I love the different fonts and having different sizes for the each of the sentiments. This really is a “Go To” stamp set!
I used each of the different sizes on my notepads. I did a little fussy cutting one one, added a banner on another, and stamped on DSP. Here’s a look at each.
Here are the details:
- Cardstock 1: 10 3/8 x 8 (cover) scored at 5 1/16 and 5 5/16, 4 1/4 x 1 1/4
- Cardstock 2: 4 1/4 x 7 1/4, 4 1/4 x 1 (embossed or use DSP)
- Designer Series Paper (Favored Flowers): 4 x 7, die cut flower
I also covered the inside of the notepad. I used cardstock with a DSP strip for one and just DSP for another.
- Cardstock 2 or DSP (for notepad binding): 2 x 5 scored at 1 and 1 1/4
- Designer Series Paper (Favored Flowers): 3/4 x 5 (layered strip)
Adhere the cover on the notepad binding before adhering the notepad on the inside. You need to use a strong adhesive to adhere the notepad. I prefer the Multipurpose Liquid Glue for this. *Note-These notepads fit in the Stampin’ Up! 6 x 8 Cellophane Bags which are perfect for gifting!
