Halloween Spells Pocket Card & Book Treat Box

October 23, 2024October 23, 2024 ~ Jeanie Stark ~ Leave a comment

My daughter is a huge Harry Potter fan! I created this card and book treat box for her.

The Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper is not just for Halloween! Take a look at the different patterns.

This paper crafting staple is great scrapbook paper, card making paper, and more! Use the simple patterns for backgrounds on scrapbook spreads. You can also fussy-cut the stack of books to use as an accent piece or a focal point for a card front! I created a removable book mark…perfect for any Harry Potter fan or book lover!

You can stamp a sentiment on the front for an added surprise when the recipient removes the bookmark.

Any day you can relax with a good book is a “happy day” in my opinion!
The sentiments I used for this card can be used for any occasion, not just Halloween. I chose the Kindest Expressions stamp set for the front of the card and a sentiment from Something Fancy on the inside.

This sentiment is just perfect to go with the potions & spells bookmark!
If you follow my blog you know how I love to coordinate cards with gifts! What could go better with a bookmark than a book of course (or a gift card to a book store)!

I love the new Stampin’ Up! Book Treat Boxes! They are quick & easy to assemble and perfect for birthdays or holidays filled with a gift card and/or treats.

*I had added some candy but that disappeared before I could get a photo. LOL
Needless to say my daughter loved her gift! She has been such a big help after my husband and I had surgery and I wanted to give her a little something to treat herself.

The pocket card and 3D book box were two of the projects included in my Just Stampin’ Card Kit & 3D Project to Go in September. I sold out of my kits; however, you can purchase the step by step photo tutorial for both these projects for just $5.

Unique Gift Box with Retiring Cracker & Treat Box Dies

April 29, 2024April 29, 2024 ~ Jeanie Stark ~ 1 Comment

The Last Chance Sale ends tomorrow! One of my favorite 3D dies, the Cracker & Treat Box Dies, is retiring. I have used these for holiday table favors and little treats again and again and they are always a big hit! It’s available for 20% off. After tomorrow it will be officially retired. *All retiring items are only available while supplies last.

Stampin' Up! Cracker & Treat Box Dies - Jeanie Stark StampinUp — Cracker & Treat Box Dies Item #159182 SALE $28.80

This set of dies includes the box, five labels, two tags, and small hearts and stars you can use as embellishments or confetti. Use the box to contain treats or small gifts. It’s fun packaging you can create quickly and looks terrific! I’ve used these dies for more than just the cracker boxes! This month’s 3D project for my Just Stampin’ Kit to Go used these dies to create a unique gift box. I don’t usually share the kit projects on my blog. I mailed out my Just Stampin’ Card Kits and 3D Project Kits today and I decided to show this month’s 3D project simply because it is so stinkin’ cute and you may want to make one too! Take a look…

This box is so unique and elegant! Here’s a photo without the tag.

My monthly kits include everything you need to create the project along with measurements and a step by step photo tutorial. The photo tutorials are exclusive for those who purchase my kits each month. However, If you purchase the Cracker & Treat Box Dies from my online store (before it retires tomorrow) I will email you the tutorial to create this gift box. I used the Forever Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (retiring) but you could use whatever cardstock and DSP you have. Here’s a photo of what my customers received in their kit.

(You use your own adhesive and stamps to put the kit together. Per Stampin’ Up! policy I can not include stamped images.)

Looking Back at 2023 in 3D

December 29, 2023 ~ Jeanie Stark ~ Leave a comment

I love to make gifts and treats for my family, friends, and customers. Today I’m sharing some of my 3D projects from 2023. *Click on the image to view the original post.

The Cracker & Treat Box Dies (Item #159182) make these quick & easy to create for any occasion!

The Heart Punch Pack and leaf dies made it easy to create fun table favors. You can easily substitute different punches or dies. I made these another year with Christmas trees.

These note pad covers are fast and fun to make! Choose your favorite Designer Series Papers and give these as gifts or for yourself. Our family plays games and we use these to keep score.

Another quick & easy table favor/treat holder. A few score lines on a piece of cardstock and decorate as desired. Great to have on hand to give out to coworkers, waitress, hairdresser, postal workers, etc.

The Pretty Pillowbox Dies were one of my favorites!!! I used these dies for so many things without ever making a pillowbox! LOL

The box bag below is fun to make with any Designer Series Papers. A great way to gift $, small gifts, or treats. The Beautiful Balloon Dies (Item #161456) are so versatile and make great tags or embellishments for different projects.

These In Color Treat Bags (Item # 161752) really come in handy for quick gifting! They are food safe so you can fill with your favorite cookies to share with friends, neighbors, workers, etc. A quick & simple tag with some cardstock, DSP, and ribbon and you are good to go! I embellished these with the Tailor Made Tags Dies (Item # 155563), Circle Sayings Bundle, and Cheerful Daisies Bundle. Grab some bags and use what you have!

The Tricks & Treats Dies (Item # 162225) is retiring soon (on Jan 3)! These dies make quick & easy bags all year long! The finished bag is 3 x 4 x 1 and holds more than you think! You’ll want these in your collection! I use them often! Great for hostess gifts!

Do you have a favorite project from the past year? I’d love to hear from you! Leave a comment below.

Yesterday I shared 23 of my favorite cards from the past year. If you missed that post, you can view it HERE.
