I received my demonstrator preorder and could not wait to create with the new In Colors and some of the upcoming products from the new Annual Catalog and Online Exclusives (available May 6th)! Here’s a look at the first set of cards I made featuring the new In Colors.

I created a set of note cards using the Beautiful Butterflies dies along with a new embossing folder and awesome new stamp set, Blooming Phrases.

The Blooming Phrases Stamp Set features beautifully scripted sentiments and floral images for any occasion. You can use the tail-end of the sentiments as a stem for the flower images to make whimsical card designs. This stamp set will be available in the Online Exclusives starting May 6th.

Another online exclusive to be released May 6th is the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folders. Embossing folders are a quick & easy way to add texture to your cards. Each embossing folder in this two-pack has its own design. I used the gorgeous arrangement of flowers on my cards.

In the center of each die cut butterfly I added one of the new 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls. Here’s a closer look at each of the cards.

These new In Colors are a great addition and I love how Stampin’ Up! provides coordinating products! I decorated the envelopes using a new designer series paper pack, the beautiful Florals In Bloom 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper.

The Florals in Bloom 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper features hand-drawn and hand-colored designs. Our artist applied watercolors to paper and let them spread, then added details with pencils to create tone-on-tone flowers for unique designs that you’ll love on cards and scrapbook pages. This paper pack will be in the new Annual Catalog (available May 6th).

Welcome to Day 12 of my 12 Days of Christmas! I hope you have enjoyed this series of projects as much as I have loved creating and sharing it with you! I hope you have been inspired along the way.

Today’s project is a simple thank you note card. Every since my children were little I always put a set of thank you cards in their stockings at Christmas so they could send notes to their grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. to thank them for their gifts. (A set of these would also make a great teacher gift!)
My “go to” for thank you cards has always been Stampin’ Up! note cards & envelopes. They come scored and ready to decorate and are the perfect size to add a handwritten note inside.

A favorite of mine this season has been the Take A Bow 6×6 Designer Series Paper. I love that you get 12 each of 4 double sided designs. I have been able to create many different projects and coordinate cards with gifts, tags, etc. And the designs are just so bright & cheery!

To Create this Project

Card Base: Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes
DSP (Take A Bow): 2 x 5, 2 @ 1⁄4 x 6
Garden Green: scraps to die cut holly from Hang An Ornament Dies
Granny Apple Green: Die Cut Thanks from Paper Pumpkin Thanks & Beyond Dies
Cherry Cobbler Adhesive Backed Berries
Directions:
1. Adhere 2 x 5 DSP to front of note card along the top.
2. Adhere DSP strip below DSP layer.
3. Adhere die cut Thanks along bottom right side.
4. Add Holly and berries on front of card. *I included extra holly and punched berries for the inside of the card if desired.
5. Add DSP strip and layer to envelope flap and trim to fit.
