Reasons I love HYBRID EMBOSSING FOLDERS …

I added some Pearlized Enamel Effects in Real Red to the berries and gently folded some of the holly leaves to tuck in the sentiment layer. The stitched rectangle dies and more (including a joy word die) are included in the set.

This card can be horizontal or vertical depending on the orientation of your sentiment.

Christmas Tags & More Gift Card Holder for Tic Tac Toe Challenge #283

It’s Thursday! That means it’s time for another Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

I really enjoy choosing elements from the Tic Tac Toe board and creating handmade cards! This week I went straight down the left side with ornament, red, and Christmas sentiment. Here’s my card:

This fun fold card is called a Vertizontal Pocket Card. Huh?!
The “Vertizontal” Pocket Card is a vertical square pocket card plus a horizontal layer. This unique pocket card design (from Robin Armbrecht) is perfect for giving gift cards (or cash) for any occasion.

Here are the measurements:

Vertical Cardstock- 4 1/4 x 10 scored along 10″ side @ 1 1/2 & 5 3/4
Horizontal Cardstock- 4 3/16 x 5 1/2, 4 x 4 (front layer)
Designer Series Paper (*coordinating patterns)- 1 1/8 x 4(H), 1 1/4 x 4 (L),
3 3/4 x 3 3/4
Basic White – 2 1/2 x 4 (for inside sentiment)

The horizontal cardstock adheres to the middle section of the vertical cardstock and sticks out on the right side. The 1 1/2″ score line at the bottom folds up to create the pocket for the gift card.

This unique assortment of paper and precut images makes it easy to coordinate colors and images on your Christmas cards and gift tags. It includes 6 x 6 full-sheet designs, cut-apart designs for card fronts and tags, and precut images for quick accent. The ornament on the front of my card is one of the precut images. I just added some ribbon and Pearl Basic Jewels.

Vertizontal Pocket Cards with Brushed With Beauty & 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar…Free PDF

I’d like to give a shout out to Robin Armbrecht for this unique fun fold design! The “Vertizontal” Pocket Card is a vertical square pocket card plus a horizontal layer. This pocket card design is perfect for giving gift cards (or cash) for any occasion.

I created 2 birthday cards using some NEW ONLINE EXCLUSIVES.
Let’s take a closer look at each of today’s cards and new products.

Crumb Cake is not a color I find myself reaching for often; however, I love how it looks with this DSP.

I paired Crumb Cake for my vertical pocket with Very Vanilla for my inside horizontal layer.

You can add a gift card or cash in the pocket. I added another sentiment under the cash so when the recipient pulls that out there’s an unexpected surprise.

The “hidden” sentiment is from the Attention Shoppers Stamp Set (retired). “Shopping is always a good idea” and this pocket card makes a great gift!

There are lots of ways to change up the Vertizontal Pocket Card and make it just right for your specific needs. My second card features exclusive products from the 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar.

The exclusive 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar box comes with a 24-piece stamp set and has 12 never-before-seen products including papers, embellishments, ephemera, tools, and more, all of which coordinate with one another. Each day brings an all-occasion, crafting goodie you won’t find anywhere else!

For today’s card I used the stamp set & coordinating dies, along with some of the DSP, Bakers Twine, & gems. Pictured below is just 1 set of the dies included in the box! (There’s also another set with postage dies!)

I love the sentiments and different fonts in this stamp set!

The 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper has some of my favorite colors and classic color combinations!!!!

I cut the DSP to 3 x 3 for the front of this card (so I can get the most out of it!).

I adhered some gems to the centers of the flowers and added some bakers twine under the die cut flower. The sentiment and flower image are popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped another sentiment and flower inside my card. I love how these sentiments go together.

How cool is it that this DSP coordinates with my gift card?!
