Mystery Monday Stampin’

Welcome back for another Mystery Monday Stampin’! I hope you are ready for a fun creative challenge! This week’s mystery card is “double” the fun! One of the wonderful things I love about mystery stamping is you use what you have! Are you ready to choose your creative adventure and solve this week’s mystery? Grab your supplies, follow the clues, and see what your finished card looks like at the end — it’s always a fun surprise.

CLUE #1 -Gather your supplies!  *You will create a landscape style card.

• Cardstock  – 4 1/4 x 11, 3 x 9
• Basic White Cardstock – 2 @ 2 3/4 x 2 3/4
• Designer Series Paper (coordinating patterns)–2 1/2 x 4 (H), 5 1/4 x 4(H), extra for envelope (*optional)
• Envelope
• Stamps
• Ink
• Adhesive
• Ribbon/Embellishments of choice (optional)
• Tools – Trimmer/Score Board, Bone Folder
• *Optional – coloring tools, die cut/punch, Cut & Emboss Machine

CLUE #2
Score the 4 1/4 x 11 cardstock along the 11″ side @ at 2 3/4 & 5 1/2. Fold & burnish score lines (mountain, valley Z fold).

CLUE #3
Adhere 2 1/2 × 4 DSP to the front panel on the card. Adhere the 5 1/4 x 4 DSP on the inside of the card.

CLUE #4
Score the 3 x 9 cardstock @ 3″ & 6″.  Fold & burnish score lines (mountain, valley).

CLUE #5
Stamp focal image/sentiment to the 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 white cardstock pieces.

CLUE #6
Adhere the white panels to the 3 x 9 cardstock. *Adhere the focal image to the first section (to the left of the mountain fold). Adhere the second piece to the right section.

CLUE #7
Adhere the 3 x 9 cardstock layer to the card base by adhering the  3″ section on the right to the center of the 5 1/4 x 4 DSP on the inside of the card.

CLUE #8
Fold the card base in the Z fold and adhere the focal panel to the front of the card. “Note where the first 3” layer (on the 3 x 9 cardstock)  touches the front of the card. **Add adhesive ONLY on the left 1/2 of the panel that will adhere to the card front.

CLUE #9
Does your card need anything else? Embellishments, etc.? Add that now.

CLUE #10
Decorate your envelope (stamp/emboss/add DSP) to coordinate with your card.
