Welcome back for another Mystery Monday Stampin’!
I hope you are ready for a fun creative challenge! One of the wonderful things I love about mystery stamping is you use what you have! Are you ready to choose your creative adventure and solve this week’s mystery? Grab your supplies, follow the clues, and see what your finished card looks like at the end — it’s always a fun surprise!
Yesterday I shared your first clue. If you missed that post (with the list of supplies), Click HERE for Clue #1
Now that you have your cardstock, designer series paper, and other supplies, it’s time to create! Simply follow the clues step by step to create a beautiful card. Feel free to add your own twist…there is no right or wrong way to do Mystery Monday Stampin’! Here are the rest of the clues.
CLUE #2
Score the 3 1/2 x 8 1/2 cardstock @ 4 1/4. Fold and burnish.
CLUE #3
Score the 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 card base @ 1 1/4, 2 1/2, & 5 1/2 on the 8 1/2 side. Fold and burnish the score lines accordion style with the shorter section in front.
CLUE #4
Adhere the two pieces of DSP to the front sections of the card base.
CLUE #5
Create a focal piece on the 3 1/4 x 4 white/neutral cardstock. Stamp/emboss/punch/die cut sentiment and/or image as desired. Adhere focal piece to the front of the folded 3 1/2 x 8 1/2 cardstock.
CLUE #6
The 3 1/2 x 8 1/2 panel is attached to the card base one side at a time. Apply Tear & Tape or other strong adhesive along the bottom on the inside.
Attach the front (with the focal piece) to the short/front panel of the accordion folded card. *You can center it on the card or adhere slightly to the left or right side.
CLUE #7
Turn the card over and adhere the back of the 3 1/2 x 8 1/2 card to the back panel of the folded accordion card.
CLUE #8
Stamp message on the 2 3/4 x 5 1/4 white/neutral cardstock. Adhere to either the back of the card or on the inside of the card.
CLUE #9
Does your card need anything else? Embellishments? Trim/Ribbon? Add that now.
CLUE #10
Decorate your envelope (stamp/emboss/add DSP) to coordinate with your card.
