Welcome back for the first Mystery Monday Stampin’ of the new year! I hope you are ready for a fun creative challenge! This week’s card is new to me! It is really simple and has that pop of WOW you get with a fun fold card! One of the wonderful things I love about mystery stamping is you use what you have! Are you ready to choose your creative adventure and solve this week’s mystery? Grab your supplies, follow the clues, and see what your finished card looks like at the end — it’s always a fun surprise!

Now that you have your cardstock, designer series paper, and other supplies, it’s time to create! Simply follow the clues step by step to create a beautiful card. Feel free to add your own twist…there is no right or wrong way to do Mystery Monday Stampin’! Here are the rest of the clues:

CLUE #2
Score the 4 1/4 x 11 cardstock @ 1 1/2, 3 1/2, 5 1/2, 7 1/2, 9 1/2 . Fold starting at one end: valley, mountain, mountain, mountain, valley. Burnish score lines with a bone folder.

CLUE #3
Fold card in half like a landscape card. Adhere the two 1 3/4 x 4 DSP panels to the scored sections on the left and center sections of the card.

CLUE #4
Stamp the 1 1/4 x 4 white/neutral cardstock panel with a sentiment of your choice. Then adhere to the section on the right side of the card.

CLUE #5
Glue the smaller/open ends on the right side together to create the fun fold. It will stand forming a diamond with a sentiment on the side pillar.

CLUE #6
Score the two 3/4 x 1 pieces at 1/2 and fold with a mountain fold. (These will create the brackets for your focal piece and will adhere to the right and left of the score line that is between the two DSP panels.) Adhere one bracket (folded in half, centered on the card, with the opening facing out) to the left of the score line. Repeat with the other bracket to the right side of the score line. *Do not go over the score line or your card will not fold properly.

CLUE #7
Create a focal piece for the front of the card. Stamp/Punch/Die Cut shape and/or image. Decorate/Layer/Embellish as desired.

CLUE #8
Attach the focal piece to brackets. *Apply Tear & Tape or multipurpose glue to the brackets to adhere the focal point.

CLUE #9
Adhere the other 1 1/4 x 4 white/neutral cardstock panel on the back of the card to add a message and/or sign your card.
Does your card need anything else? Embellishments? Trim/Ribbon? Add that now.

CLUE #10
Decorate your envelope (stamp/emboss/add DSP) to coordinate with your card.
*The card lays flat to fit into a A2 sized envelope.
