Welcome back for another Mystery Monday Stampin’! I hope you are ready for a fun creative challenge! One of the wonderful things I love about mystery stamping is you use what you have! Are you ready to choose your creative adventure and solve this week’s mystery? Grab your supplies, follow the clues, and see what your finished card looks like at the end — it’s always a fun surprise!
Yesterday I shared your first clue. If you missed that post (with the list of supplies), Click HERE for Clue #1
Now that you have your cardstock, designer series paper, and other supplies, it’s time to create! Simply follow the clues step by step to create a beautiful card. Feel free to add your own twist…there is no right or wrong way to do Mystery Monday Stampin’! Here are the rest of the clues:
CLUE #2
Score the 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 cardstock @ 4 1/4. Fold and burnish along the score line. *You will be making a landscape card with the fold at the top.
CLUE #3
Start with the 6 x 6 DSP. (*Best to choose a pattern than is nondirectional.)
Lay the side you want to show flat. Fold evenly in 1/2 one way then open and fold in 1/2 the other way so you have 4 squares. *Use bone folder to score gently on each of the folds.
CLUE #4
Flip the DSP over and fold bottom end up diagonally. *The side you want to see folds over to make a triangle. Use bone folder to score. Open so the side want to see is face up. Sides will fold in and form a square/diamond shape.
CLUE #5
Open the card base and lay folded DSP (in diamond orientation) centered inside. *Folds of DSP should be at the top and open section at the bottom. Apply adhesive (Multipurpose glue) on top of the diamond shaped DSP. Fold the card closed to adhere. Open the card and repeat with glue on the other side of the DSP and close the card to adhere to inside of card base.
CLUE #6
Stamp sentiment on 2 3/4 white/neutral square (in diamond orientation) and adhere inside card. *You can add a second diamond inside if desired. Only adhere to top or bottom so sides can fold in.
CLUE #7
Adhere 3 x 4 1/4 DSP to cardstock layer. Center and adhere to card front.
CLUE #8
Stamp/Punch/Die Cut sentiment and/or image to create a focal piece.
CLUE #9
Does your card need anything else? Embellishments? Trim/Ribbon? Add that now.
CLUE #10
Decorate your envelope (stamp/emboss/add DSP) to coordinate with your card.
