Mystery Monday Stampin’

Welcome back for another Mystery Monday Stampin’! I hope you are ready for a fun creative challenge! One of the wonderful things I love about mystery stamping is you use what you have! Are you ready to choose your creative adventure and solve this week’s mystery? Grab your supplies, follow the clues, and see what your finished card looks like at the end — it’s always a fun surprise!

Yesterday I shared your first clue. If you missed that post (with the list of supplies), Click HERE for Clue #1

Now that you have your cardstock, designer series paper, and other supplies, it’s time to create! Simply follow the clues step by step to create a beautiful card. Feel free to add your own twist…there is no right or wrong way to do Mystery Monday Stampin’! Here are the rest of the clues:
*This will be a horizontal card.

CLUE #2
Score the 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ cardstock @ 4 1/4.

CLUE #3
With the portrait side at the top of the trimmer cut at 1 1/4 to the score line on each side.

CLUE #4
Fold the card on the score line with the flaps on the front of the card. Adhere the 2 3/4 x 4 designer series paper to the center front panel of the card. Adhere the 1 x 4 DSP pieces to the side panels on the front and inside the card. *All 4 pieces can be the same or 2 of one pattern and 2 of another pattern.

CLUE #5
Adhere the Basic White panel to the inside center of the card base. The inside panel can be stamped with a sentiment of your choice or left blank to write on.

CLUE #6
Adhere the 1 x 5 1/2 DSP to the 1 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of cardstock. Adhere this strip to the card front with a strong adhesive. Only add adhesive to the ends to connect the flaps. *Do not put adhesive on the middle section. Allow the center piece of the card base to move freely.

CLUE #7
Stamp a “hidden message” on the 3/4 x 2 3/4 white cardstock. Adhere this piece to the center front panel directly underneath the “bridge” panel. (The bridge piece will hide the message until the card is opened.)

CLUE #8
Create a focal piece for the front of the card. Stamp/Punch/Die Cut sentiment and/or image. Decorate/Layer as desired. You will adhere the focal piece to the center of the “bridge” making sure you only adhere it to the strip so the center piece moves freely.

CLUE #9
Does your card need anything else? Embellishments? Trim/Ribbon? Add that now.

CLUE #10
Decorate your envelope (stamp/emboss/add DSP) to coordinate with your card.
