Welcome back for another Mystery Monday Stampin’! I am so excited about the cool fun fold card I have for you to create this week! I seriously can’t stop making them!! It’s another “new to me” fun fold and every time I make one I wonder what it would look like if I used this paper and that stamp set. I hope you’ll play along and share what you create! One of the wonderful things I love about mystery stamping is you use what you have! Are you ready to choose your creative adventure and solve this week’s mystery? Grab your supplies, follow the clues, and see what your finished card looks like at the end — it’s always a fun surprise!

Now that you have your cardstock, designer series paper, and other supplies, it’s time to create! Simply follow the clues step by step to create a beautiful card. Feel free to add your own twist…there is no right or wrong way to do Mystery Monday Stampin’! Here are the rest of the clues:

CLUE #2
Score the 7 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ cardstock along the long side @ 1 1/2 and 3. Fold and burnish the score lines. Fold the 3″ score line in (valley fold) and the 1 1/2″ score back (mountain fold). It will look like a Z fold.

CLUE #3
Score the 4 1/2″ x 7 1/4″ cardstock along the long side @ 1 1/2 and 3 (the same as above). Then cut 1 1/2″ strips along the 4 1/2″ side. You will have 3 strips that measure 1 1/2 x 7 1/4.

CLUE #4
Accordion fold the 3 strips back and forth the same as in Clue #2. Then lay them flat with the long side on the left. Adhere the DSP strips and square pieces on the 1 1/2 x 7 1/4 strips.

CLUE #5
Lay the card base flat with the 1 1/2″ & 3″ score lines (Z fold) on the left side.
Place the 3 strips on top so that the folded side with the 1 1/2″ & 3″ score lines are on the right side.

CLUE #6
Adhere the 3 strips to the card base. *You will only put adhesive on the left and right edges of the strips to adhere. Start at the top flush with the top of the card base. Then add a strip flush with the bottom of the card base (again, making sure you just adhere the left and right edges). Add the third strip across the middle adhering just the left and right ends.

CLUE #7
Create a focal image on the front of your card. Stamp/die cut/punch image, color/embellish/emboss however you want! Adhere layer to card front making sure to only add adhesive where it will adhere to one of the strips.
(*You don’t want adhesive in the open spaces!)

CLUE #8
Adhere the 4 x 5 1/2 Basic White layer on the back for your message.

CLUE #9
Does your card need anything else? Embellishments? A sentiment?
Add that now.

CLUE #10
Decorate your envelope (stamp/emboss/add DSP) to coordinate with your card.
