Welcome to my Sunday Showcase. Today’s cards were created by stamping friends who played along with my Mystery Monday Stampin’. (I look forward to receiving their emails each week!) Many thanks to these ladies for sharing their creativity!

Do you notice anything different with Sheila’s card?
Sheila stopped by to visit me this week. She wanted to create the hidden gatefold with a piece of 6×6 patterned paper (instead of using 12 x 12 from the “clues”). I helped her “go rogue”. We had fun creating together.
Here’s how to create a hidden gatefold card using your favorite 6×6 DSP.
Score a piece of 5 1/4 x 8 cardstock @ 2″ and 6″. Fold and burnish for the inside of your card. Then cut 3/4″ off the bottom of your 6 x 6 DSP and cut it into 2″ strips (each measuring 2 x 5 1/4). Adhere 2 strips to the front of the gatefold on the inside of your card. Then you have a 2″ strip for the front to embellish as desired. There’s no right or wrong way to do Mystery Stampin’! Use what you have and have fun being creative!
Click HERE to download/print the Mystery Stampin’ PDF and give this fun fold a try. You’ll also get the details on the two cards I created below.

I would love to have you join me for Mystery Monday Stampin’! It’s really fun and easy… just follow the clues to create! You will find the first clue (the supplies and measurements) for this week’s challenge below.
This week’s mystery card is a unique fun fold design that I have been wanting to try for awhile. I was on a creative roll this week and couldn’t stop making these fun fold cards!!! I ended up creating two versions (with several of each!).
It reminded me of some books I used to read to my kids when they were young. Have you heard of the books called “Choose Your Own Adventure”? It is not just a book – it’s a quest where every choice unlocks a new path. It’s a really cool mystery and has so many options that you want to reread and pick a different choice the next time. That was me this week…I kept wanting to try different papers and stamps, etc. Sound mysterious??? Get ready to pick your option and solve the mystery!

Thanks Linda! I’m hoping you will play along!!! You are so creative and talented!!!
What great cards! Well, hopefully I will be able to get cardmaking back on track. Teddy, our basset hound, died the 11th and I have been devastated with the loss of my best buddy. He had cancer but outlived his diagnosis. The vet said 6 weeks to 6 months but it had been 15 months later. Anyway, if all goes well, tomorrow we will be bringing a puppy home with us. They had called him Bernard and Mike liked that name so we will be calling him Bernie. He had lots of siblings to choose from but Mike fell in love with the biggest laid back one. I have lots of puppy scratches and bruises but I will heal both mentally and physically.
Oh Chris! I am so sorry to hear about Teddy! I hope the wonderful memories and knowing that you provided him with so much love over the years will bring you the peace you need. I always say the only problem with dogs is they don’t live long enough!!! Stamping has always been my therapy…hope you can find some time. Enjoy that new puppy! Rosanne just got a new puppy too and they are a handful! I look forward to hearing “Bernie stories”.
I just couldn’t take it. I was lonely, depressed and couldn’t sleep well. Teddy helped monitor my glucose at times and was just my everything. He did meet and greets at the college meeting families on tour and new students. On free lunch day kids also could get a free book and a craft kit. He had some little kids sit with him and read to him or show him the pictures etc. He greeted senior buses and many separately. So, Mr. Bernard Chonkers has big paws to fill! I am hoping the family with kids next door temporally will tire him out the first few days before they move into their new house. They gave Ted a good time and don’t know he died while they were on vacation. Mike is busy cleaning the crate so it will be ready tomorrow as I write this.
