Welcome to Day 8 of my 12 Days of Christmas! I am so excited to bring you 12 days of fun Christmas projects that will hopefully inspire you to create! Today I am sharing a quick and easy fun fold card I created using the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder. Stampin' Up! I love embossing folders! They are a quick and easy way to add texture and depth to a card for a WOW factor. You can even emboss the envelope to coordinate.

If you ordered my 12 Days of Christmas Kit to Go you received everything you need to craft along with me. Here’s a look at what was included in the kit for today’s project.

To Create this Project

Card Base (Mossy Meadow): 5 1⁄2” x 8 1⁄2” score at 2 1/8 ”and 4 1⁄4′′
Old Olive cardstock: 4 x 5 1⁄4
Mossy Meadow cardstock: 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 Emboss w/ Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder
Basic White: 4 x 5 1⁄4 (inside), scrap to die cut sentiment layer with Greetings of the Season Dies
DSP (Season of Green & Gold): 1 x 5 1⁄4 (inside)
DSP (Iconic Celebrations): die cut tree using Iconic Imagery Die
Gold Satin Edged Ribbon & Simply Elegant Trim
Adhesive-Backed Birds
Basic White Medium Envelope

Directions:

Fold & burnish card base. Fold in half then fold right side back on front.
Adhere embossed layer to Old Olive cardstock. Adhere layer to card front. *Just put adhesive on left side.
Stamp sentiment. Thread ribbon through end and tie with gold trim. Adhere to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere die cut tree above sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensional.
Embellish with Adhesive Backed Birds.
Adhere DSP strip to White layer then adhere inside card. Stamp sentiment or add handwritten note.

*Envelope is embossed along left edge to coordinate.
*This could easily be used for a birthday, sympathy, thinking of you, thank, etc. card simply by changing the sentiment.
