My New Craft Room & Stamp N Storage SALE!!!

Happy Valentine’s Day! I am in LOVE with my new craft room! I promised you more pictures and a look at how I organize my space so here goes…

I wanted to make the most use of the space so we planned for tables to wrap around 3 walls. I love that I have 3 different work areas (which gives me room for a couple of friends to stamp with me). The long table under the windows is great for laying out different projects (card kits, product shares, scrapbooking, painting).

The slanted corner wall provides great storage with the Ikea Kallax unit. I store all my Designer Series Paper in the top cubbies for easy access.

The DVD shelf beside the storage unit holds my retired stamp sets. My current stamp sets are on the shelf by my computer (for easy access when I’m typing my blog or placing an order).

The drawer unit beside the computer desk holds my business supplies (catalogs, shipping labels, postal scale and label maker). I have a  rolling cart for my printer that fits under the table (and out of the way).

I love seeing everything along this wall and having it within reach when I’m creating. I use Stamp N Storage holders for ribbon, ink, punches, blends, paper, accessories, and more! It’s compact and I can take advantage of the height which leaves more work space!

I put a lot of thought in to organizing the drawer units in my stamp area. The 5 drawer unit on the left (Ikea Alex) holds desk supplies, adhesives, envelopes & note cards, precut cardstock, and current packaging.

My favorite Ikea piece is the Alex drawer unit on casters. I can roll this out and store extra things in the corner under the desk if needed.

My Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer and Simply Scored Scoring Tool fit on top for quick & easy access! The wide drawers hold my blocks & Stamparatus, ink spots and ink refills, embellishments, coloring tools and accessories, and retired wood stamps. That’s a lot of storage!!!

*The dividers for the ink spots (above) and clear embellishment tray (below) are from Stamp N Storage. (They are made to fit in the wood drawer unit sitting on top of my work table.)

I store more embellishments in small clear jars so I can easily see what’s inside.

Around the corner is the area for cutting and embossing. *I used my Rewards and purchased the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine and OMG I am so glad I did!!!  I absolutely love it! It is so much lighter and easier to turn, the different plates are included and labeled AND there’s pictures so you know exactly what to use for each “sandwich” when die cutting and embossing with different types of embossing folders!!! (I recommend putting this on your wish list or Join Stampin’ Up! and purchase at a discount!)

These two drawer units with file storage (Ikea Alex) have all my supplies for die cutting and embossing, as well as grid paper, trimmers, and tools.

I label my dies and embossing folders which makes it so much easier to find quickly! I just purchased the Stamp N Storage die envelopes and I love them!!!

Because my stamp room is filled with sunlight during the day I store my cardstock in the closet to prevent it from fading. For now I am using magazine file boxes but am planning to take advantage of the Stamp N Storage SALE today and purchase the Paper Holders. (My previous paper storage was a mail sorter and I loved having individual slots for every color.)

  1. Jeanie, thanks so much for sharing your beautiful craft room. It looks as though you have thought of everything with some room for more. Happy crafting to you!

    1. I can mess it up in two seconds flat! LOL I have to say though it is much easier to clean up when I have a space for everything.

  2. WOW Jeanie…..Your new studio is FABULOUS. Can only image how much FUN you are having in it. Thanks for all the pics and details on how you organize. I’m soooo happy for you!

  3. Great Jeanie! Looks great. You should enter the Stamp-n-Storage “craft room of the month” to maybe win $75.00 gift certificate!
    Have a blessed day.

  4. What a lovely and inviting craft room! So nice that your daughter was able to help you out. Looks like she was enjoying the project too. Thanks too for all the details and pics.

    1. I am very blessed and grateful for my loving and supportive family! We did have a ton of fun doing this together! My family enjoys easy access for all their card needs and I love it when they ask me to make something for them. 🙂

    1. If you look at the photo of my closet I have a rolling 3 drawer cart with card tins SU used to offer. I store my 6 x 6 DSP in those tins and use Stamp N Storage 6 x 6 paper sleeves for scraps and labeling. You can also store your 6 x 6 paper in mini crates you can get at Walmart or Target. Bring a pack with you next time you are out shopping and see what fits. Good Luck!

  5. How wonderful! Your organization makes me envious! I never got fully moved into mine so things are still not organized well! Enjoy your special space!

  6. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing these storage ideas. I have a tiny room and it really needs organization. I would like to know what size and where you found the plastic container that holds all your ink bottles. I so wish I could get a DVD holder to use for my stamps. My shelves are too deep for the stamp sets. Any suggestions?? Thanks.

  7. I just ran across this post today. I love your new craft room and I just know that you do too. I love looking at craft rooms and getting ideas. I see yours and I think “I could have a craft room that looks like that!” What I need is some sort of cat tree/stamp storage combination. Do you think Stamp ‘n Storage has that? LOL.
