My husband, daughter, and I decided to take a drive to Washington, DC over the weekend to get out and about for a bit. (It’s only an hour drive from where we live.) Spring in our nation’s capital is my favorite time of year, especially when the cherry blossoms are in bloom! This weekend was peak season and it was a gorgeous sight to behold!
The beauty of nature is a gift to be appreciated! Usually we would get out and walk along the paths but this year (due to “social distancing”) we stayed in our car. I was inspired to create some cards for my friends!
The Forever Blossoms stamp set and Cherry Blossoms Dies were the perfect choice to create this beautiful inspiring scene! I chose to use the sentiment and dies from the So Sentimental Bundle to cut the opening and stamp the inside of my card.
I added a touch of color to the blossoms with Stampin’ Blends.

You were smart to stay in the car. Sounded like thousands had the same idea to get out and enjoy the trees but didn’t enjoy from their cars! Balancing social distancing and not going stir crazy is a challenge. Stay well and be safe.
