Welcome to my ABC Card Series! Throughout this series I’ve been sharing a variety of cards for every occasion. Today’s card is a fun fold boX card. I love to make fun fold cards and this one is not only different, it’s really quick & easy to make!
Materials and Measurements
- Card base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Mossy Meadow cardstock scored at 2, 4, 6, and 8.
- Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper – Cut 4 strips 1 3/4 x 5 1/4. (I stamped my sentiment on one of the panels. You could use whisper white cardstock if your DSP is too busy or dark.)
- Basic Black cardstock to cut Butterfly Beauty dies.
I used a strip of Tear & Tape along the 1/2 inch side to adhere the box. The butterfly dies are attached to the card with a glue dot on each butterfly along the center fold line. This card will display nicely on a shelf. I love how it looks like the butterflies are floating. Here’s more views of this fun card.
And it folds flat to mail in a standard envelope.
