Sending Positive Thoughts with Happiness Surrounds

Stampin Up Happiness Surrounds and Garden Impressions card idea - Jeanie Stark StampinUp
The Happiness Surrounds stamp set has a great variety of sentiments! I am always looking for just the right sentiment for each card I make and “sending positive thoughts” is just what is needed for someone who is going through treatment or having a tough time. There are different occasions when thinking of you is just not quite enough and this one will do the job! *This stamp set is only available in November while supplies last. Check out the variety of sentiments and images.

I love the colors (So Saffron and Night of Navy) on this card! Stampin’ Up! really rocks color coordination.  It’s easy to chose the colors for the card layers from the prints in the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper Stack. The work is done for you!

I was inspired to do this fun ribbon embellishment from a card I saw on Pinterest.  I just added some adhesive where I wanted the ribbon to go and then adhered my stamped image and sentiment on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

  1. Darn it, this is a totally me type of card complete with the colors. I did not want to buy that stamp set but now, I am wondering if I REALLY DO NEED IT! I send a lot of positive type of cards and I did think about it but then you did the motive with it and used my favorite paper, that just nudged it up more. Funny, I used to do that ribbon treatment a lot or make a loop but I have not done it in eons. Maybe I should start doing that again and use up some hunks of ribbons. In other words I LOVE THIS CARD!

Blends, I missed them but I was zipping through the online version of the catalog pretty fast. What colors?

      1. Mossy Meadow – one of my top favorites and I am really liking Balmy Blue. Thanks Jeanie for letting me know as I didn’t want to look through the catalog again on line as I need a few more things from the holiday mini. I had to look at the card again, it is so pretty!

    1. Thanks Mary Ann! I actually got up and made it at 6am this morning to give to a coworker because her sister was recently diagnosed with cancer and was going to the doctor today to get her test results! It was the perfect sentiment!!!

  2. Love your card! Way to show how versatile this suite of products are. I’m sure I will be casing you. Thank you!
