Hi, Are all your cards 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 ? Or are they other sizes? Also, thank you. You have opened my eyes and brought me out of my comfort zone. A lot of these cards I feel I can actually make.
Hi Kathy! Most of the cards I make are 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. You can click on any of the images to go to the original post for the directions and measurements. All of the cards in today’s showcase fit in the medium size envelopes designed for 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 cards. With fun folds, you score and fold differently but usually end up with a regular size card. Hope this helps!
All your cards and folds are great! My fav today is the “joy” fold….maybe because the cute piggy is smile’n!
Another fun revisit! I had forgotten about Mr. Toad! But, sorry guy, I think I will have to go with the J for joy fold too as the piggy is just too much fun and I like making that fold! Did you have a very favorite fold out of all the cards? Wait, did I miss the last four fold W, X, Y and z? Or, are you saving the best for last?!?
Chris, I still need to finish the last 4 fun folds for this series. I didn’t get them done before I left for the beach and I didn’t want to wait to announce the fun fold card swap as I wanted to give everyone time to create and send to me before I leave again in July. I plan to finish the alphabet when I return from the beach.
I have a lot of favorites as I love fun fold cards! Some of the ones in the series I did for the first time (like the hidden message one above) and others I have used a lot (gatefold…it’s so quick & easy!). The fun fold flap is great for when you want o give a gift card or money. Like you, I love the joy fold but I also love the interlocking fun fold..and that’s just from today’s line up! LOL
I brought my Paper Pumpkin to the beach with me. I was so excited when it arrived the day before I left. I was doing the happy dance!!!! Love my surprise kit each month! I thought it was so ironic that this month was a watermelon theme after I just made that watermelon rocker card. LOL The bag is perfect to go with the birthday party theme! As always, I want refills!!!!
Hi Jeanie, I’m having a little difficulty with the Interlocking fold. Is one side suppose to be larger after we score? I have to say your ABC’s have been such fun.
Both sides are scored the same so they come together in the center. For my interlocking card you score at 2 3/4 from each end or 2 3/4 and 8 1/4. The center piece measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. Each end piece measures 2 3/4 x 4 1/4. I updated the directions to clarify. Thanks for the heads up. Hope this helps.
