Yesterday I promised to share another example of a reverse easel card using the Fall for Toile Paper Pumpkin Kit.
You can see from the sideview how it got it’s name.
The die cut framed tree and sentiment on the front are from the Paper Pumpkin kit. (*Refills of this kit are available.)
I fussy cut a leaf from the Gathering Together Designer Series Paper to use as a “stopper” for the easel.
In addition to the Paper Pumpkin kit I used Amber Autumn and Words for the Season stamp sets for the sentiments on the front and back of my card.
The card folds flat to fit in the envelope.

I used most of the products from this suite on today’s cards.
Here’s a closer look at each card.
The floral image is cut from the designer series paper using the dies from the Christmas Greenery Bundle. I added Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon behind the image and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used the Traditional Labels Bundle to stamp and die cut my sentiment. I stamped the greeting in VersaMark and heat embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder. I tucked in some more images cut from the DSP and added a couple of sparkling sequins.
I added a sentiment on back from Words For The Season (another new stamp set/bundle available starting Sept. 3rd.)
This card is timeless and the sentiments are perfect for those friends who don’t celebrate Christmas.
My second card today is the same fun fold only horizontal instead of vertical. I created this card for a December birthday (I’m planning ahead!). It could also bean anniversary, get well, or thinking of you card.
The floral image is cut from the designer series paper using the dies from the Christmas Greenery Bundle the same as my first card just a different floral pattern. (*So many of the reverse patterns from this DSP can be used year round!) I die cut some of the flower blooms from the side of the DSP and added them with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I die cut Happy with Gold Foil and stamped “birthday” in red and die cut it with a banner from Stylish Shapes. Are you wondering where I got the “Happy” die? It’s from another new product I am so excited about…Words For The Season Bundle! (*I used a sentiment from that set on my first card.) This bundle includes 9 word dies which I absolutely LOVE!!!
Create the perfect holiday greeting with the Words for the Season Bundle! This combination of festive sentiment stamps and versatile word dies lets you craft phrases for Christmas, New Year’s, Halloween, autumn, and more in a gorgeous script font. Mix, match, and layer for personalized cards, scrapbooks, and home decor.
I went a little rogue on this card. (*Remember- there’s no right or wrong way to do mystery stampin’!!!) Instead of adding a sentiment on the back of the card, I created a hidden message on the front. I cut my DSP 3 1/4″ x 8″ and scored it in half at 4″. I cut the white layer to 3 x 3 3/4 to stamp my message.
I added a simple flower from the DSP on my envelope to coordinate.

I really enjoy sharing different fun fold card designs with you each week. I would love to have you join me for this week’s Mystery Monday Stampin’! It’s really fun and easy. The best part is you USE WHAT YOU HAVE to create a handmade card! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned stamper, this is a creative way to kick off your week with stamping fun. You do not need a specific stamp set or paper. You already have what you love, so use it! You will find the first clue (the supplies and measurements) for this week’s challenge below.
CLUE #1 -Gather your supplies to be ready to play Mystery Monday Stampin’
Cardstock– 4 1/4 x 11
Cardstock (same color)- 3 x 3
Designer Series Paper (Coordinating pieces)– 3 1/8 x 4 (H), 2 x 4 (H), extra if needed to decorate envelope
Basic White/Beige or Very Vanilla – 2 3/4 x 2 3/4, 4 x 5 1/4, extra for die cutting & stamping if desired
Envelope
Ink
Stamps
Adhesive
Embellishments- ribbon, adhesive dots or gems/sequins (*optional)
Tools – Ruler, Trimmer/Score Board, Bone Folder, scissors if needed to fussy cut
