Happy Fourth of July! There is much to celebrate! Today the United States celebrates the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the birth of our country. In honor of this special occasion I made these little treats for the patients at our local Hospice House.
These are really quick & easy to create! It’s just 2 Hershey nuggets, each wrapped with an Avery Address Label (*or use a 1 x 3 piece of DSP). I stamped the sentiment from Banner Sayings and die cut it with the smallest banner from the Stylish Shapes Dies. (*I could have punched it out with the coordinating 3 Banner Punch but I liked the stitching on the die.) I placed the sparkly pick in between the nuggets and held it in place with a Stampin’ Dimensional on each side.
Today is also a special day for me…It’s the 10 year anniversary of my blog! My very first blog post was the treat holder pictured below that I posted on July 4, 2016. (You can click on the image to see the original post.)
I didn’t know back then that I was about to embark on such a rewarding and fulfilling experience! Who knew that creating and sharing cards could bring so much joy?!
