Popcorn Box Thinlits Dies by Stampin’ Up!

Today is my friend Paula’s birthday. Paula is the nurse at school and she loves the popcorn from the boardwalk at the beach. I was thrilled when I found out I could purchase it from our little neighborhood grocery store.  I made this card for Paula using the Popcorn Box Thinlits Dies to go with the bucket of popcorn for her birthday.

To make the popcorn box (as shown in the video), you need to cut 2 pieces and put them together to make 4 sides.  For the card pouch, I just cut one piece and folded it over. (Be sure to cut off the little piece that is shown in the picture.) Use a strong adhesive to adhere. I used Tombow Multipurpose glue.

I cut Whisper White strips using the die included in the set and adhered them to the front of the pouch. To create the inside panel I simply die-cut the box in whisper white card stock and hand cut following the shallow lines created by the die. I wanted to make caramel popcorn so I used Delightful Dijon ink and stamped it off once before stamping it on my paper.  I cut out the popcorn using the dies included in the set and attached them to the top of the panel using mini glue dots.  I think Paula will be surprised when I drop this off at her doorstop today. She is an amazing, thoughtful, creative, hardworking, woman and I hope she feels special and appreciated today!
