It’s Christmas in July! For Fun Fold Friday this week I thought I would share a Christmas card from “Christmas Past”. I usually start thinking about what I want to make for our Christmas card around this time of year. We send out A LOT of Christmas cards each year so I “try” to get an early start even though I always seem to end up racing around last minute to get them out. This is an easy card to mass produce! I absolutely love easel cards! Here’s the details how to make one:
Cut your card stock at 4 1/4″ x 11″. Score at 5 1/2″ and 8 1/2″. I attached our family photo to a layer of whisper white card stock that measures 4″ x 5 1/4″. Put adhesive on the bottom portion ONLY of the photo (or stamped image) when you adhere it to the card base. You want adhesive to stay below the score line so your card will stand up when opened. Here’s a view from the side and back of the card.
I stamped and layered the sentiment and attached it using Stampin’ Dimensionals. This provides the support for your card when it’s displayed. When the card is closed you wouldn’t know it was a special fun fold. I like that it’s a surprise.
Start thinking about your holiday cards. Stampin’ Up! Bonus Days is a great time to stock up on the supplies you need. Click HERE to check out the Christmas Suite in my online shop. It’s open 24/7.
Hope you have a wonderful day!
