I started the new year off with a long over due cleaning and reorganizing my craft room! It feels good to start off with a clean space! When it comes to cleaning my blocks I would put it off as long as possible. Until recently that is! I discovered the surplus of alcohol wipes I had leftover from my foot surgery work great for cleaning my blocks! No more trips to the sink to wash and scrub…the alcohol wipes make clean up quick & easy and leave my blocks sparkling!

Heres how to create these Valentine treat holders…

Die cut two pieces of the Designer Series Paper using Hearts of Elegance Dies.
Fold each heart in half.
Overlap hearts with points connecting at the bottom. Use Tear ‘n Tape to adhere the hearts together. Flip over and adhere the other side.
Die cut smaller heart in coordinating cardstock.
Stamp sentiment on heart with Versamark and heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder.
Adhere heart to treat holder with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Embellish with Adhesive-backed Heart Sequins.
Fill with treats!

I love to make table favors for all the holidays as well as little thank you treats to give out throughout the year. Here’s what I created for our Christmas dinner table this year.

To create the holder, simply cut out the die and fold along the score lines. Add a dab of glue along the edges and fold to adhere.

Celebrating 7 Years & Starting Something New!

Happy 4th of July! Seven years ago today (July 4, 2016) I stepped out of my comfort zone and started this blog. I couldn’t have done it without the help and support from my family! My wonderful daughter set up my blog and encouraged me to share!

Today I am stepping put of my comfort zone again and I need your help! I started a facebook business page. Many people have asked about purchasing my seashell crafts. I plan to post these items on my facebook page and would love for you to help spread the word. Please like my page and share with your facebook friends and family. I love to create trinket dishes, candles, wine stoppers, napkin rings, angels, and more with shells! These make great gifts for friends, family, hostess, etc. I have posted some of these on my blog HERE, HERE, and HERE. I have given many as gifts and use them all over my house for decor and more.
