Honey Bee has been one of my most used sets from the Mini Catalog. Here’s another fun project that is quick & easy to make!
I love to give little gifts and this is something everyone can use. This little box is the perfect size for a Burt’s Bees Lip Balm. The floral print from the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper matches the colors on the Replenishing lip balm. I love it when it works out like that!
Here’s the details:
- Ornate Garden DSP – 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 Score at 3/4 and 3 1/2 on one side, score at 1, 1 3/4, 2 1/2, and 3 1/4 on other side.
- Remove the 4 corner pieces.
- Cut and notch the outer edges as shown below. *Don’t notch the middle.
- Add adhesive to the 4 outer notched ends and fold the box together.
- Stamp the sentiment on a piece of 1/2″ wide Whisper White and notch the end.
- Stamp the flower and the bee on Whisper White with Memento Black ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends.
- Cut out the bee with the Detailed Bee dies and add to a mini clothespin with Glue Dots.
- Fussy cut the flower and adhere it and the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Put the lip balm inside and clip the clothespin on top.

These two cards have stamped balloons which I then cut out with the framelits. The one on the left I stamped twice, once on mint macaron and once on white. I cut the top part of the mint macaron balloon and adhered it to the whisper white then popped it up on dimensionals. I was trying to get the look of the balloons in the DSP. The one on the left was easy to match the DSP by just stamping in different inks and running it through the Big Shot to cut it out.
